That's actually one of the main reasons I had to split up the files...because geocities won't support resume downloads. Each file takes me about 20 mins on my slow connection...that's what I had to do to make sure the links work.
I think someone on IRC is hosting it on their server...but I believe he edited my game and took out the ENTIRE intro because some people didn't have a strong enough processor to view the intro sequence...which is why I included an option in the game myself to "Forget the eye candy". So you can try downloading it from RPG Advocate's server on IRC from #rm2k...however I don't know what kind of edit he did with it so I can't say you'll be getting the game as it was meant to be played...it's up to you.

Silicon Hero put it on his site too. Now I'm glad I mentioned it in his forums (one of the memebers though I was you...hehe).

...They're not balls, they're cluster BOMBS. Oh well, I bet Hanzo will return the favor to Afi some time latter in the game.

I bet he will Hanzo is that kinda guy. any who I lvoed the game, Wish it was longer, but ive said that before. Ive found that the Katana is a very good weapon, it either deals greater DMG than normal, or around half. Its good for those time when you have 2 partymembers and a monster that takes 3 hits =)

Yeah . . . I've said this in another post, but I felt that the flashback (15 years) was pretty friggin' meaningless. I thought that it would have been better if you actually played back then, like showing her escape and stuff. Maybe have stuff inbetween the present day and the 15 years ago that explains her bio. (a little bit)

LOL Rolin. Alright, perhaps I should let you in on the real deal. Originally, the actual intro of UMFH was supposed to start with that flashback. The little tidbit about Galandria's fall was supposed to have been THE flashback that was supposed to happen after Methuselah's lair. I switched them around for two reasons: 1. So you can all have a chance to see yourselves before I went into the long story, otherwise you won't see yourselves for a very long time...so that was more for you guys. 2. My music composer, Barbie (she's VERY good BTW), hasn't completed my specially requested theme that I wanted to put during Thelanea's scene...so I postponed it. Thelanea's scene (the flashback 15 years ago) was supposed to show her jumping to the river...you were supposed to control her running through the dungeon running away from the soldiers...but I deemed it pointless and would only drag the game on because you couldn't fight with the child Thelanea. I simply didnt' program her stats into the game and doing so would take enourmous amount of coding...I almost have to make an entire new full CMS just for the child version of Thelanea because everything in the CMS is linked together. The flashback is a necessary prelude because there will be certain things that will happen later on that would make absolutely no sense to you if you hadn't seen that part. It was meant to show 3 things: 1. That Thelanea has a history of poverty. 2. That her mother had a solid reason for sacrificing herself for her daughter because she has been unable to protect her in the past. 3. That Thelanea has a reason to hate/be against the Paragon empire. Simply using text messages later on to show that Thelanea has a deep hatred for the empire just won't cut it...it wouldn't be the same as showing her and her mother suffer through it. I could have made it longer, but I needed just enough to show what happened and then move on with the story. Hope that clears it up a little hehe.

yes we got to see our selves! I actually found Hanzo to be one of the most useful characters in the beginning (Unfortunatly after Afi...) I think the bombs and the Katana are some of the best weapons. The double attack makes the Katana very nice. (and the multiple hit makes bombs GREAT!)

Well, since I'm here, I might as well give a little update:
Chapter 2 will introduce yet another feature that I have been tight lipped about. Aside from the formations, you will be introduced to the Phantom Liege feature. In essence, there is an optional quest that you must complete in order to gain access to the Phantoms. The Phantom Liege is a being (chosen at random) that will appear during battles to help you out if you have less than 4 characters in your party. These beings are different types of spectral animals, each with their own special ability. One example is the Phantom Lion...which is very similar to the White Tiger in ITNOTR. The Phantom Liege will leave after every battle. There will be areas in the game that are going to be quite a challenge unlike chapter 1, which was designed to get you more aquainted with menu functions and such. Bosses will require strategy instead of mindless slashing. Let's say they will be strong enough so you will be required to use skills to beat them.

as long as there arent any places that you HAVE to have the phantoms in (AKA you can have 4 people in your party, or remove one and have a phantom) then it will be cool. sounds spiffy. Also no places where you are suposed to die Ive always hated those... (I doubt you were gonna have em, no one does...)
