I had an idea. The game starts out when you go into a forest. Probally because your mom says not to, but I'm workin' on that part. Anyway, you see a spirit by a floating sword. It says that you choose it's body and get it's sword. The sword basically chooses your elemental alinment and stats depending on the body you choose for thie spirit. The spirit ends up as a summon and the body chooses it's elemental alignment and attacks and stats. There are alot of these and each one gets you a new weapon and summon. The body decides it's friendship meter. When the friendship meter gets full, you can fuse with it. There's an FFX style summon system, only you need the summons to fight. When you fuse, you can have more powerful attacks. So does it sound possible?

Probably possible...it'd be laggy I'm guessing and very hard to program.

I did a FFX style summon system in my game. It's really easy. Step 1: Create a skill for each summon, like "Summon Ifrit." (Set to Switch) Step 2: Create a skill for dismissing the summon, like "Dismiss Aeon." (Set to Switch) Step 3: Create an event in a battle set to activate when your summon switch is on, like "Summon Ifrit" or whatever other summons are there. (Seperate page for each one) Step 4: Now, this was done by me for only one character. Having it work for different characters is a little harder. Make the events on that page remove the summoning character, and add in the summon monster. You'll want your skill to dismiss to be set on the summon monster, along with it's other skills. Have the event end by turning OFF the summon switch, so it doesn't repeat over and over. Step 5: To dismiss the summon, make a new page set to activate when your dismiss switch is on, like "Dismiss Aeon." Have that event remove the summon monster and put the summoner back in your party. Also turn the dismissal switch OFF after use. (To make this work for each summon with only one page, put a remove for EVERY summon monster in the event, so you can use it for each summon with only one page. Step 6: To make the summon go away if it loses all of its HP or when the battle ends, do this. Make a new page, set to Hero HP, and set it to the summon monster and put 0 & 0 for HP. Make it remove the summon and put back in the summoner. You can also compress that by making it work on a fork in Step 5 to combine both actions. To get it to remove at the end of a battle, I put an event on each map where there was random battles, and set it to Parallel Process, with the events of removing the summon monster and restoring the character into the party. I then put a wait of 0.0 or 0.1 to kill lag. You can e-mail me if you have any problems with it, because chances are I forgot to mention something in the programming of it, but it does work quite well.

Well,Rubicant, your system isn't hard for more then 1 character, you must first make a switch for each character in your game, when choosing members to add to the team, you remove every heros in the actual party, then, when choosing them, you put a switch on,why?Cause the only problem is the main hero,if he summon a Aeon, the game will switch the main guy,so at the end of the battle or when the Aeon is dead, you'll have to put the hero back and remove the other members, then,in common event, create a parrallele process with a switch to activate it and make fork for your other party members to put them back in the team without changing main hero.
