First,I'm not a beginner of RPG maker but there's something I would like to know: my game has a real time system(1 second=1 minute) and I'm trying to do something,I want the characters of my village to return to their house at a certain hours ,like a kid who return to his house at 7 pm...I know I can just create them a path to make them return to their house, this is easy, but if the char moves at random,it get more complicated...I wanted to know if we could do a Move to XY location like in the playstation version,I didn't see it anywhere...If you know how I could do this tell me.Or else I will have to create a path for every char in the game,no random...

The only thing I can think of would be to have the event figure out where he is and then plot a direction to the house. I'm pretty sure you can set a variable to the X or Y location of an event, and then you could program it from there.
Its not hard if you know what you are doing.

I knew this could work but movement must be extremly precise!this is where it get complicated if the event move at random cuz it can be almost everywhere it the map! and I don't want to do a condition for each location where the event can be(you probably know why!).I think that setting a path for each event is much simple, unless you have another option or I misunderstood what you meant...

if im corect you could set the event position in a variable x and y then tell them to move to certain cordinates

Yeah, but when I do this to thing can happen depending on how I did it:or the event is teleported to the location or the event get stuck in everything in his ways including other event that goes in the opposite direction.
