Easy Day & Night
I doubt anyone on this board will need to know how to make a Day & Night system but for those still don't know how, this is the common sense day & night system.
-----------------------------------------------------
Requirements: To do this you will need to know about switches. AND THATS IT.
Step One: Create a Common Event and title it Day & Night System. Set it to Parallel Process activated when switch (Refer to step 2) is on.
Step Two: Create 5 switches one of the five activating your Day & Night System, the other 4 title them: Morning, Day, Evening, Night
Step Three: In your Day & Night system common event create a cycle event. Inside the cycle event you'll create your day and night system. Below I have a template that makes everything straight foward, and if you can't understand it, you shouldn't be making RM2K games.
LAST STEP: And that should do it. You can add any other extras if you want. Like activating pictures when a certain time period turn on.
Comments: I have tested this over and over and using this sytem in my game. But if you see anything wrong/can't get it to work, don't be afraid to tell/ask. 8)
