Hopefully, this is the right place for this type of post. Anyway, I need a MIDI sequencing program. If anybody knows one, can you help me find one that's extremely easy to use but somewhat advanced.

If you have a basic musical knowledge, then I recommend getting Anvil Studio from www.anvilstudio.com. It's freeware, and IMO very good. The CSC Seal of Approval with Wooly Mittens on.

If you download the upgrade of Anvil Studio, you'll be able to loop the midis as well, but that would only work in RM2K-- it probably won't loop in any regular media program like Winamp or Windows Media Player. Still, the feature is VERY useful if you want the song to repeat forever instead of warping back to its beginning, and especially useful if it fades out in the end (simply delete the fade out parts then loop the midi appropriately); sometimes after a midi fades in RM2K, when it plays again (and any other music that comes up) the volume is VERY low... You can find an Anvil Studio midi looping tutorial at www.rpg2knet.com/

I tried Anvil. It's not really what I expected. As a matter of fact, it sucks! I can't really use it to my expertise. Think there's another program I can use?

If you can't use Anvil Studio, you won't be able to use anything else.

Well, it's much worse compared to what I already use.

What are you using at the moment, then?
This was the only MIDI sequencing program (and WAVs supported, too, don't forget) that I found which satisfied my own hunger for music making.

I use a program called Midisoft Studio. It's not as advanced but much more easy-to-use and laid out well.

I downloaded a version, and I thought that for all your nifty features, Anvil Studio's better: I prefer it all in one interface, rather than in separate windows. I'll play around with it more at a later time.

So you've used Midisoft Studio? Ancil Studio's just not what I'm used to...
