After seeing both Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away, I wanted to know if anyone has seen this movie and what you think about it. I'm thinking about getting it, but I'm not sure. My brother has the video of Kiki's Delivery Service, and that doesn't seem very appealing, but maybe I'll watch it sometime.test

Well, I bought it anyway. Like the two I've seen before it, I like it a lot. It starts off comical, but by the end it gets pretty serious. For some reason it reminds me of Grandia...I recommend it to everyone (hell, I recommend every Miyazaki movie)

I've seen Kiki's delivery service. Interesting to watch, but I didn't find it extremely appealing. Good to see some of what's-his-face's earlier works you know. Hehe.

I think I should actually sit down and watch Kiki. I've heard good things about it but...I don't know it doesn't seem as good as others...

I thought Castle In The Sky was great! I see what you mean about Grandia too, those huge airships are kinda similar and the robots and stuff.
Kiki's Delivery Service is really good! Despite the fact that it's perhaps aimed at younger viewers and really has no adult themes it is (like all Studio Ghibli movies) a heart-warming story and you really feel for the characters. It's one of my favourites.

Castle in the Sky is AWESOME. However, you HAVE to watch it in Japanese, otherwise you have to deal with the bad voices (Anime wasn't taken seriously in the majority of America when this was released). The story and characters drew me in very well. I prefer this to Kiki's Delivery Service, and it's even slightly better than Princess Mononoke in my mind. Spirited Away probably ranks even or slightly better with it, tho.
