Right, I've been planning this for some time. I'll be getting a scanner soon, and I'm going to start drawing comics and colouring them myself, or getting someone else to colour it (hint hint) Now the comic will be independant from RPG Town, but that doesn't mean I won't indirectly involve you guys (ie - use your phrases, or base characters around you - with your permission of course). The point of this thread is this - the key to the success of a webcomic is, obviously, a storyline. Now I have three topics I want to base it on - I suppose they could mix at times - but I want you guys to tell me what you think of my ideas. Comic one: Documentarian. About a group of budding film makers who try to make independant films and then send them to major companies, expecting a response and a huge sack of money. The comic is shown as if it's a documentary on the film makers. Comic Two: Flying V. A comic about guitarists, I'd probably introduce more characters and so more instruments later on, if the comic gets succesful. It's based around two guitarists who want to make a band, and so hire other band members, try to get concerts going, and so on. Comic Three: Users Guide. A gaming comic. Inspired from Ctrl Alt Del, this is about (suprise suprise) gamers! What more can I say? All these ideas and names are subject to change, but I just thought I'd get a bit of feedback, see what you guys think.

Ditto.
Might be able to colour them, if I learn how to.

Link, if you do learn to colour, I'm thinking Ctrl Alt Del style, which will probably be quite hard. If you haven't seen Ctrl Alt Del's comics, go here: www.ctrlaltdel-online.com. Thanks a lot for the offer P.S: all those bands in your sig pwn.

OMGWTFBBQ Slippy pwns and you know it.
I hate Death Metal with a passion, but I like some punk rock. I'm more into hard rock and heavy metal, but I like just about ever genre and offshot of rock music there is (this involves blues, alt rock, prog rock, metal, hard rock, emo, ska, punk, and so on).
And if you wanna carry this on, we should make a thread in Music. Spam my thread and I will unintentionally break your face.

Yeah, but when has the other one been updated?
I recommend against the following comic ideas: gamers Mock RPG or anything RPG related
1 and 2 sound good, but like I stated, unless you don't want to be original in your comic theme, don't choose 3.

Yeah, but when has the other one been updated? Would have been several times by now if it wasn't for scanner problems and the fact that he hasn't been home for two weeks, and won't be for another three. And Shig, I vote for number two.

I vote...............TWO!
One just sounds boring to me
Two sounds good since I play guitar and am in a band
I like three, but...yeah, there's too many like it. (ex. VG Cats, Crtl Alt Del, Penny Arcade...)

I'd vote for number two, but that would be too simple. I have a better idea. Make a 98 Percent-based comic or something, y'know, 'cause it has filmmaking in it, like the first choice, but it's not as, um... boring. Or just something else. That's just wot I em tinking...
