We seriously need a seperate forum for threads like these. They just clutter the main one. I'll have to mention this to PaulC. For now, this is okay.

I overrule your MOM. Subdividing for crap like this would be like kicking the GD forum in the balls. We already have a Debate and Music forum and that sucks enough blood out of General Discussion. |

I overrule your MOM. Subdividing for crap like this would be like kicking the GD forum in the balls. We already have a Debate and Music forum and that sucks enough blood out of General Discussion. So you're saying we should flood the main forum with one word posts just showing off a humorous picture? That's a bit careless towards the other threads that are actually serious. We need a forum for humorous/spammish type threads. Just because we have been lax the past few months doesn't mean we should be afraid to restore some order here. |

I figured you had been around long enough to know that alot of the posts that make the Town great are posts like these. And yes, posts like this should go here. You treat it like there are 100 of these posts on the frontpage of General Discussion. Go ahead and press for it. I just hope Paul sees that it'd be taking alot out of a forum that's not exactly flourishing right now. I'm not saying to stop doing this, I'm just saying when we move to a new forum things will need to get back into order. That doesn't mean "OH NOES WE CANT POST ANYTHING," but simply certain posts will be moved to a different forum, maybe a sub-forum of the general board. I'm not suggesting that this should change on the proboards, I'm talking about doing this when we begin to use the new IPB PaulC is working on. I knew that some people would probably have a problem with this, but bear with me. Things will even out as long as this community begins to grow. |
