and no, mel brooks' silent movie does not count ;D i've seen a couple, and so far my favorite is "Metropolis." Man, these things are pure masterpiece. and, since frame speeds can be so random on these films, you might even see Zorro running at impossible speeds and dont ever forget charlie chaplin

The framespeed is weird. I've seen various ones, but only bits and pieces, cause they're so boring. They seem to be on turner classic movies late at night I've noticed.

yeah, they can get pretty d**ned corny. it's good at fast framespeeds, though. that way, if something that's 2 hours is moving hella slow (cough metropolis cough), then, i can play it at fast forward and it gets by at 30 minutes, best of all, not a single yawn.
the ones that won't bore you to death, though, are the charlie chaplain films. they're not slow, and, what other word to use besides "farcial"?

I saw two. A Charlie Chaplin one and a Stoneface one.

Some of the silent movies have demented bonus films at the end. They were supposed to be humorous back then I'm guessing. Now they're just plain dumb. Sadly, they were more entertaining than the movie itself.
