I have decided to write the story of how I disappeared and came back, then disappeared again, and came back again. I will post the chapters as I write them.
Enjoy!
Chapter 1
And the Story Begins…
Koopa woke up and began his day as normal. He got dressed, he brushed his teeth, took a shower, took off his wet clothes, put on new clothes, and pick up his backpack. Yes, it was going to be anotherhorrible wonderful day at school.
He began walking out of his house and then realized something; he had forgot to post at the boards. How was he to hold up his Spamming title without actually posting everyday? He dropped his backpack at the door and took off sprinting for his computer. He logged on and began randomly posting to various topics.
“Hey look, Kamau just uploaded screenshots of Legion Saga II!” A smile crossed Koopa’s face. “Let’s see. d**n this looks good.”
He posted his thoughts quickly, knowing if he didn’t leave soon, he would be late for first period. With a quick “I wish I could make games like that” comment, he was out the door and running for school.
Little did he know that today would be his last.
“Yo Koopa, why are you late?” Coach Hill’s voice rang through the gym. It really sucked having Advisory in the Gym. “We only have 2 minutes left of class and you stroll in here without breaking a sweat?”
“Sorry Coach, I had to help an old woman cross the street.”
“Go sit down you meathead.”
“Thanks Coach.”
Koopa took his seat on the bleachers next to two of his friends, John and Kanen. Christina immediately jumped on the bleacher below and leaned back, “Why are you really late?”
He smirked, knowing this crazy girl had the hots for him, “I wasn’t lieing. I actually did have to help an old lady cross the street.”
“Yeah right Koop,” noted Kanen. “I know you. You were probably playing some stupid video game.”
Koopa didn’t take kindly to people insulting his video games but at the moment, it really didn’t matter. He just rolled his eyes began giving Christina a back rub, “Sure, I was playing my stupid video games.”
The bell rang and everyone got up to go to second period. Koopa stood but Coach called to him, “Koopa, get your lazy self over here.”
Koopa sighed and told his friends he would catch up, moving over to coach. He stood in front of coach and waited for the worst. He knew that tone in Coach’s voice, and it wasn’t a happy one at that.
“Koop, you have been late to class for 2 weeks. Why can’t you just get here on time like normal students?” Coach seemed to have a bit of a nagging tone in his voice.
Koopa gave a gulp and began fumbling with words, trying to make up an excuse, “I can’t because I need to help my mother in the morning. She’s 56 and isn’t getting any younger. Now a days I have to help her out of bed and then get dressed and -”
“Koop, how stupid do you think I am? I know you too well to believe that.”
“Coach, can I come in at Lunch to argue with you, because I really need to get to class, or I’ll be late.”
“Fine, meathead. But you better come in.”
“I will!” Koopa was already out the door and yelling back.
He strolled casually to his next class, passing the parking lot on his way. Suddenly, the bell rang, “Ah, crap. I’m going to be late… again.”
He was about to run when a black van pulled up beside him. He stopped dead and turned to look at the driver; a man clad in a black suit, “What do you guys want?”
The driver looked back and nodded. The back doors flung open and out jumped two men in suits. One grabbed Koopa and covered his mouth as the other hoisted him into the car. Koopa struggled to get loose but failed. Two adult males were way stronger then one teenage boy.
They closed the doors and the van drove off, leaving the school unknowing to where their student had gone.
Enjoy!
