I drew it without thinking of Rikku once. Then, Jacket told me she looks like Rikku so I'm like, "omg lol 111". Uhm. Whatcha think?

Good, good... Well, good for a start. The proportions are strange. Sometimes what I do is look at my paper from the backside with a strong light shining so you can see through at your drawing. This really helps me spot errors. Though a drawing may look good at your glance, since we the creators make it, our pride in our work can make it harder for us to spot the flaws in it as well.

I reccomend drawing the body outline first, then the head.

Drawing the body and only then the head? impossible for me. I could NEVER do that. Never ever, and I'll never be able to do that. That's me.

I thought so too, but it turns out to be rather helpful in getting head to body proportions right.

You gotta draw the entire frame as a whole first. Note how all body parts consist of simple circular-like shapes. Especially in anime. Start with the head and work down, making the body in proper perportion. It's said in order for a normal non-exaggerated chibi body is at least 6 heads tall. So Draw the rest of the body height apart from the head to be the equivlent of 5 of the same sized heads. That helps a lot. For the rest, especially female figure drawing, I reccomend you check out the tutorials on www.howtodrawmanga.com
