Yes, sad but true. I no longer feel like commiting myself to make a decent RM2K game.... no matter that i never actually released one.
Anyway, not to worry. I'll still be here, and i'll still help other makers do their thing. in fact, if anyone want's some help with their games (I'M ONLY TALKING TO THE OLD GUARD HERE! (the ones who were around about 8-12 months ago)) i'll be happy to assist.
...sh*t ay?

I'm in exactly the same position. Although I did release an incredibly awful demo ;D.

I lose interest every now and then, but it usually returns after a few hours, or worst case, a few days. Ironic, as I entered college having no real interest in RM2k (I think I was playing WC3 at the time). However, now I'm in the process of drawing charsets, composing music, and doing rips to get my CBS and hopefully, game, all set up... Laying groundwork kinda sucks when you don't have many maps or really a playable game at all.

F*ck me, that was quick!
Suddenly i have an urge to make stuff! Ain't that the sh*t?
Well, Ok, ima gonna go back to good ol' RM2K. However, i still can't be f*cked making up some resources (except the movies and such) so I'll be offering a select few my services. Who knows, maybe afterwards i'll work on my own. I DO feel like making a game of my own, but when it comes down to it, the "laying the groundwork" phase is a real interest killer.

Sleepy: I'm in basically the same position as you . . . Erm, only without going off to college. ;D I only seem to have good ideas and be inspired to work on RM2k at school . . . And the sad part? I forget the ideas at the end of the day.

Bring a notebook to write in. It usually helps.
I find that it's much harder when trying to imagine how to draw a charset for a character. I've been out of that for a few days, and should return soon...
