Alright, finally after much tinkering and inner debate I finally have a plot that I like and think at least some of you will too. The title is "Deus Ex Machina" and will be a Sci-Fi game, probably with a few fantasy elements mixed in. I don't want to say too much about it, but I can tell you this it involves sinister robots. C'mon who can honestly say they don't like sinister robots? Anyway it will not be the basic Sci-Fi "we don't like humans and we want to destroy them because we are smarter than they are"type sinister robots. These robots have something else in mind all together. Hell I might even have to throw in time travel to make the plot work. C'mon, is there anybody who doesn't like time travel? Anyway, I'll hopefully have some screens soon after I work out some plot details to get it going. It's even gonna have fancy Japanese graphics. Who can honestly say they don't like Japanese graphics?

Just to reassure everyone that was supposed to sound really lame. And about the japanese graphics, it''s mostly monsters anyway.

I don't like sinister robots.
There are plenty of people who don't enjoy time travel, especially when you are a person that tries time and again to prove through pure fact as opposed to pure fiction that time travel is impossible because there is no such thing as time. Oh yeah, that's me too.
Where graphics come from don't matter. I don't like whatever graphics that you picked anyway. Because I'm bored.

Well if you don't like sinister robots think of them as "A.I." Really, it's not the same thing.

Rolin - FINALLY someone who understands my view on time travel... LOL!
I like future games.. I'd like to see more of them. I like fantasy too, but they are getting a little too cliche nowadays =(. Good on ya.

What's your reasoning for not believing in time travel, shiva?
My reasoning? Because in order to travel to a certain "time", you would need to know the position and state of every particle and sub-particle sized particle (sorta self-contradictory, there. heh) in the UNIVERSE. And considering that we don't know how expansive the universe is, it would literally be impossible right now, and it will always be impossible because it would take "time" to take down every last bit of information, and while taking down that information you are changing the information itself.
BUT, with this information, it would be possible to change the world as we know it.
Or in terms for the rest of you to understand . . .

It IS possible to travel through time. After you go faster than the speed of light you can travel through time. They're also making a device that can teleport people. They tested it and right now it can teleport pieces of dust.

Ok Joey...I'm sure that teleporter thing is not true To me, time travel is impossible, unless maybe that alternative reality thing might be true...don't know there...I just that travelling back in time is impossible, future same thing, I also thing travelling at the speed of light MIGHT be impossible, ships would just fall apart... If you have spaceships that go the speed of light in your game, Patryn, make sure there made of a new metal or odd substance...

And that you count the fact that the speed of light is not a constant.
