So, I'm working on the RPG that my friend and I are making, and there is going to be a point which you can choose some party members. I know one way do do this: Put all your characters in a map an talk to the ones you want in your party. Does anyone have another idea? I want to try something different and I'm really stumped >_<
Thanks in advance!

Create a blank character or just use the walking character set replacement option to have a hero pop up in cursor form and hover over a character. Click to choose wether or not to add them. Also, you could simply use a choice menu and have option 4 be see more members.

Also, if you knew how to use pictures well. You could make a Background picture. And have all the character's face sets on the background. Then have a picture of an arrow that moves x and y according to the keys you press. You could have it start on say the top left face and set a variable to 1. Then when you move it to different faces if changes the variable to different numbers depending on where it is... But if all of this is too complicated.... Just go with BMZ's idea
