1. How do I make a game clock? I used a tutorial, and it did squat. 2. How do I make a party change system that's not as large as Legion Saga or Suikoden's party change system, I only have 7 characters, I don't need anything that big.
3. Does anyone know where I can find good, quality present day chipsets? I need them for my game, and I don't have the artistic talent to make custom chipsets.
4. Can anyone point me in the direction of detailed variable and fork condtion tutorials? I need them like Irish need beer...whoops...racial slur (I'm part- Irish, so it doesn't bother me, however there are some sensitive people out there...)
5. So...how 'bout them Dodgers?
6. I need better game music, anyone know of a place where I can abtain better music?
7. How do you utilize panorama pictures in a game? If that's too confusing, send me to a tutorial.
OK, I think that'll do it, if I get stuck again, I'll ask more. Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.
OH! Wait...one more...how do I put a picture on my profile, you know, the little picture thingie on the left side of the post under your name, I never figured that flippin' thing out. Thanks!

1.) Game clock is easy, you just need an idea of how variables and forks work. So you need to know how to do things in 4.) 2.) Start small. You'll learn things from RPG Maker just by using it. The further you go in a game, the more experience you have, the easier things are. It's likely that the first game you make will never get anywhere and won't be put on the internet. You'll learn a lot from your early projects which you will use in later ones. I went through about 10 projects in the early days before I even got a single game that was worthy of other people's time. After some time you'll be able to make a party change system all on your own, so until then perhaps it would just be best to learn all the functions of the RM2k engine. 3.) www.gamingw.net or www.gaminggroundzero.com4.) Once again, try the two sites in 3.) They isn't much to variables and forks - variables are just stored numbers and forks are logic gates, (ie If variable1 = 34, show message "Hello world.") Play with them and soon you'll understand them. 7.) Right click on your maps and change the properties. Tick the panorama box and choose one. Take a look at what it does for the map (you need to place down some transparent chips from the lower mode (usually a plain pink tile)). All in all you just need to practice. RM2k is a straight forward program (so long as the translation is up to scratch) and just by adding some commands and trying them out you'll progress leaps and bounds.
