I got mine from RPG Infinity, but for some reason they don't have it anymore. Rm2kete has the files for it though. You can find the ete website at: www.rm2kete.net

And Guest, that's because you got a file missing called system.

well, i would get Rpg Maker 2003 if i wanted a 3-D game but i do not it's too much work and i just want to make either a Shining Force fan game or a Dragon warrior fan game maybe Zelda or final fantasy too or just an all in one something with individuality but yet not too much work to do so i can get used to programming.. and if i'm missing a file where can i get it??? do i have to start all over again??? because i can enter the Rpg Maker just can't enter whatever it makes

ah sorry my friend try game makers general. sorry as for some of the features you are willing to impliment basic 3d I suppose would be possible with pictures however it would only look it and would be 2D in the game I your missing files post the exact names a member may be able to send them zelda and SF would require an ABS and a TBS repectivly an ABS would be the best CBS to start on a TBS is long painful and not worth the hassle on a first game hope I answered your questions

Also known as prerendered backgrounds. Like in Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9.
Fred, I think he may have gotten Rm2k3 mixed up with RPG Maker 2 for the Ps2. Just a thought.

oh i just kinda figured it would since it's new and all
i still haven't found it and Q&A told me that there is no file named system and it was a compatibility problem and i have Xp and updated drivers like directX and direct9 and that
also i have no joystick, it that a bad thing??
the reason why i'd like to use Rpg Maker whatever i don't care what version lol is that i'd like to start my dream of becoming an Rpg Developer like squaresoft and Enix
this seems like it would be easier to use, like it would match my skills
