;D
In some OLD RPG's, the party would follow the Hero over the terrain. Any idea how to to this in RM2K?

Hmmm, I forget where I found tutorials about that, search around sites like Gaming World I think. It is possible but rather hard I think.
I just checked Don Miguel's site, and there's one or two there.

If you don't know how to you would make one, than you really shouldn't be making one...The only things tougher to do in RM2K in my opinion are CBS's and CMS's. So the difficulty is HIGH!

a lot of code sites will list this as a 'caterpillar system'. Perhaps do a serch for that and you may find something.
I have never tried to implement this myself so I can't help =).

that sounds easy. you would have to put an "Enter Password" thing, and have the follower move when a button is pressed. if the hero does a u-turn you can use the "slip through" move command to make the two go through each other.

The problem with Dezlord's system is what about multiple followers, or if the hero is at an angle. ;D

there's about 5 tutorials at go.to/rm2k It's Dons site. and dez what if you are walking left and you go up? the event following would still need to go left. Rusty used a hero X + Y variable and an old hero X + Y variable to get round it but i'm sure there's other ways...
