Can't get an answer from the Pauls, but....
(1)Is it possible to have footstep sounds when your walking?
(2)I'm making a Suikoden-style war system, is there an easier way to control multiple events without using "move event" every 2 seconds?
(3)I'm constructing a new Walk System, with 8 directional movement, where left and right keys turn u 45 degrees in that direction, and forward and back move u forward and back. But I can't get it right, any suggestions.
(4)I need to know where I can find Modern-Futuristic chipsets for my game that are all in the same style.
(5)And also why people can't seem to read. "Only "PaulC" and "Majin Paul" are allowed to respond to questions posted here", yet tons of people reply??

I only respond.......only not to answer but to just wonder.
(1)Is it possible to have footstep sounds when your walking? Yes
(2)I'm making a Suikoden-style war system, is there an easier way to control multiple events without using "move event" every 2 seconds? I beleave there is a methed but im not sure.
3)I'm constructing a new Walk System, with 8 directional movement, where left and right keys turn u 45 degrees in that direction, and forward and back move u forward and back. But I can't get it right, any suggestions. This is a bit easier. Make a password and make the keys Set so your char walks diagnoly lie. Set a parrale operation with a char. set with him to the side
(4)I need to know where I can find Modern-Futuristic chipsets for my game that are all in the same style.
Can't help you there.
(5)And also why people can't seem to read. "Only "PaulC" and "Majin Paul" are allowed to respond to questions posted here", yet tons of people reply?? Some of us only respond not to help cause of reasons like we may also need help and the subject is near the same. Yet we do not post answers.

Yeah: 1)Ok, but how can I make it sound right as he takes a step? 2)Thanks anyway 3)It sounds easy, but believe me, the coding is unreal . I just needed an example of coding to see where I'm going wrong, it gets a bit cumbersome at times. 4)This is my main concern, I'm using Suikoden rips, but they don't fit in with the theme. 5)I didn't mean to copy that question. But some people do post answers.

1) Since you are doing a custom walk, play in in your custom move =).
2) I don't think so.. I think 'move event' and 'set event place' are the only ways to do it.
3) If you tell me what you've tried I may be able to help better. It seems like you are going to have to not use the default hero but use an event instead.. otherwise the hero will move even though you are using 'password'. (ie: you hit left the hero will move left as well as turning).
4) I wish I knew.. I'm trying to make my own.
5) I know, those people will probably recieve warnings eventually. I recieved a warning on the old board for it.. I always for got which board I was in. I like to help people in general.
As far as "can't get an answer from the pauls" I'm sure they will reply when they have time.. sometimes it takes them a few weeks to respond to questions.
(edit) Especially after only two days of waiting =) I usually give it at least a week before I give up on the pauls.
