I am going to do a game called Dream Sky (working title) about a son of a farmer who dreams of something more. This takes place right before LS1 and he finds out about the Meluvetian regime and dreams of becoming a soldier there, but there are educational requirements that the boy is ineligible to have. He finds a way around it, and he will eventually end up as a soldier in the Whole Moon Guard.
This will be a game without any fighting or violence, but rather puzzles and decision making. I'm not sure how I will pull this off, but any ideas or help?

Don't make it LS based.

Um, he could pose as someone of a higher class than himself? That could be one of the puzzels, trying to get into that person's house or castle.

Yes, I recommend not making it LS based. The only thing you're borrowing from LS appears to be the Whole Moon Guard. I think you'd have more fun being creative and making your own setting, but I could be wrong. If you had other plans tieing your game into LS then you should go with it.
Magikoopa's idea is a good one. ...

Okay, then thanks for all the advice.
If I don't make it LS based, I think it would work better in a modern setting, kind of like October Sky. I really wanted to make a LS fan game, but I guess I'll have to come up with something else.
