I believe I pointed out the work thing earlier. No sense in argueing. It would be better to put a game that is completely original and sell it than a game like LS, as well as, say, ABL. Only a very select few can do that at the moment, as most games have at least one thing that would make it illegal with the copyright infringements and such. LS is free, but it is technically illegal. Thing is, ASCII doesn't give a d**n. I never said FLASH cartridges were illegal. I have a couple myself. The total revamp in making everything, including tossing the RTP, would take a REAL long time for pretty much any game, no it won't happen, as people won't see the point, as the people who will enjoy the game are even smaller than the amount that play them now. That's when Kamau gets into the advertising business, my friend... Stop trying to be wity. You're not. He advertises the current LS game, he's going to jail or gonna lose on the deal. Plus, selling FLASH cartridge games on the open market is illegal too.

BMZ, I understand people would have to make an engine and everything, but this could lead to a whole new concept-Indipendant Gaming. Think about it...Make a whole new program. Forget RPGM2k, 2k3....Forget RPGM. Make an entirely new program, with a new engine, its own sprites, etc, etc. RPG Palace could become a game developer.
And I know it's wishful thinking, but with proper resources (and a lot of money) it's possible. And if Bill Gates' on the verge of conquering the world, anything's possible.....

If you make a new program and new sprites aren't you just creating another RM2K and a new RTP? And RPG Palace is basically dead(but it's being revived). I think playing Legion Saga I-III on my computer is fine. They're something I use to kill an afternoon or two and I personally wouldn't want to see them on a GBA. Because think about it, how many game publishers do you know that are as close to the fans as Kamau is? If he did manage to sell them he would be pressured by the publisher to make more gaidens and probably an LS4 so the publisher can make more money. So just leave LS as it is. EDIT: Also regarding flash cartridges, I think there is no point in owning them as to use them legally you would have to dump the ROM yourself. It is illegal to download any ROM period.

Trust me, not gonna happen. You're living an impossible dream. Make an entirely new RPG maker?! Us?! Sober up! Hardly any of us have experience with real programming and those of us who do probably aren't that good.

Like I said, it's wishful thinking, but it is possible. 10 years ago, did any of us think we could make our own RPG's? Nope. But now we can.
And you CAN download a ROM as long as you own the cartridge. If you sell the game and keep the ROM, it becomes illegal.

No one would download the ROM is they owned it, and it still has to be deleted within 24 hours. Make our own RPGs? This is with public freeware. Actual RPG programming is very different. In fact, if you think RPG making companies use programs like this, you're on drugs.

That is common myth such as "If you only have it for 24 hours its not illegal". By US law you are legally entitled to a backup copy incase yours is damaged. But you are only entitled to it if you make the backup yourself. It is illegal to download copyrighted software under any circumstance. And it's like BMZ, your living an impossible dream. And we could make our own RPGs 10 years ago, some people probably thought maybe in the future we can make our own games. Besides, RPG Maker for SNES came out in 1993 or 1994 if I'm correct. Edit: RPG Tsukuru Super Dante(Super Dante RPG Maker) came out on March 31, 1995, so 8 years ago we could make RPGs.

"It is illegal to download copyrighted software under any circumstance."
Then we've all ILLEGALLY downloaded ASCII's RPGM. So, BMZ, it's "way to illegal" for anything we do here, hm?

Of course we all have download RM2K illegally! Busterman said that would be the most illegal thing we've ever done. We never sell our RPGs, only create them for free! And I'm sure most people here would've bought RM2K3 had it come out. We only use RM2K illegally because that's the only way we can.

No, your all just too lazy to learn Japanese.... Japanese got over 500 symbols to represent letters and all,it's quite long to learn, don't you think?
And yet,I already got enough with learning english.
And no,I'm not english,I'm french.

But we could get arrested for selling them. No, your all just too lazy to learn Japanese.... Stop being dumb! I know it's hard, but stop.
