You might want to restate that. They haven't changed much, but here are some screens of Fire Red and Leaf Green (it's not Water Blue, that's been confirmed). Opening Menus n' Such Some of the beginning gameplayROFL!!! That site is still celebrating St. Patricks Day!!!

Mr. E, admittedly the menu and cut scenes looks a lot better, but the in game graphics are still exactly the same. When I said the graphics should be improved, I meant the in-game graphics - everyone knows cut scenes can look absolutely incredible, but it's the in-game graphics you spend most of the time looking at. And just from those screenshots, I'm 90% sure the game will have you start as a pokémon newbie, about to embark on a quest to become a pokémon master, most likely ending in the elite four or whatever, and maybe fighting some people from other games. But then I again, I only completed Red, Blue, Yellow and Gold, with Gold being the best by far. You could complete Red and Blue inside the Gold game after you've beaten gold, meeting your favourite characters years on and finally ending with beating Ash - now that's genious. Edit: Sorry, I had to do this: Sure the game was fun and there were some new cool pokemon like the legendary Regi pokemon, Rayquatza and Latinos and Latinas. LATINO HEAT, BABY!

Well, I would hope so. Fire Red and Leaf Green are remakes of the original Red and Blue games, so I'm fairly sure the storyline would be the same.
