Well this is the first anime I ever reviewed so it might be a little funny.
Sonic X is an anime made by TMS and Sega. It is being dubbed by 4KIDS and will first air on Aug. 23rd at 10:00 PM. Then offically make it's air on September. 3rd. And thus I'm going to make a review abotu this.
StoryLine 7/10
I'm not to sure about this. But it'll get a 4 until probably later in the show. The story thing will change. Sonci and his friend's get teliported to a different place and time on a planet called Earth. However Sonic meats a person anmed Chris after almost drowning in the pool.
They becxome friends and all of Sonic's freinds start appearing. However, Dr. Eggman has even been trying to take over the world in this universe!!!!
And even worse there are the Chaos Emerald.
UPDATED: As sonic and Tails continue to find the chaos emeralds. They meet loads of opsticals. However....
when the purple emerald....the 6th chaos emerald...was in there hands...dr. eggman caught this.,...And because of eggman capturing this emerald...once the last emerald is found....They will fuse..and become one...and may distort reality, time.....and even space.
Animation 8/10
The animation is PRETTY good. However Sonic's spikes are a bit messed up...Which..erm.. Hard to explain. Sometimes the animation repeats and sometimes it looks messed up liek there heads shrink and grow(good example is in the preview for ep, 18 you see Sonic's head enlarged and spikes messed up. And Eggman's head shrunk.) But mostly it's pretty good.
Voices: 10/10
No complainging here. the voices are pretty good. Most of them are from the adventure series and a few execptions(Knuckles VA was from the OVA which I was surprised) and tails is defently different. I like his new voice defeantly. Now Chirs, His voice is a bit..Anoying at times but great. Only reason I say this is cause he is usually not that enthuased when doing the PReviews.
All others are fine. No complaining.
Music: 9/10
I love the music. Defeantly great. The japaense opening and Endings are pretty good. The music in the show is also great although can be annoying sometimes ^^;;; And sometimes repeative. But good. One thing is that some new music has started appear sense ending 2 has started.
Sound Effects: 6/10
Only thing to complain about sometimes is the sound effects. Sometimes it sounds to childish but other times it sounds right. Most of the score goes to the Voice which is 3. And the other basically goes to the sound effects in the show.
Final Thoughts:
This anime does have potential defeantly. We will just have to see until the final episode of season 1.
Well it's near the end of the final season....and well..this is all set up...the score is a bit hyer but i'll change it soon.
Final Score: 7.4
If you can watch it any way at possible. you'll love it. If your a true sonic fan you will defeantly w/o thoughts love this anime.
