Anyone watch it? It's on Cartoon Network at 6:30 PM Pacific time.

I've seen all 95 episodes of the series subtitled. Great characters, nice animation quality that sometimes dips in the filler episodes, and pretty good music. The first season is good, the second is excellent, and the third is terrible, so if they're airing them in order do yourself a favor and stop watching after the Kyoto Arc.

Does it really get that bad?
And have you seen the movie?

The last season really is terrible. It goes off in a completely different direction from the manga. There was no character development, and the new storylines so were boring and poorly-written the filler episodes were actually a sort of reprieve. I haven't seen the movie, but I've seen the first OVA (Tsuiokuhen, 4 episodes, covering Kenshin's past). It's a lot darker than the series but it's absolutely amazing.

OVA sounds cool. I'll check at some stores to see of they have it.
**SPOILER QUESTION** Does Kenshin ever start killing again? Just wondering.

**SPOILER QUESTION** Does Kenshin ever start killing again? Just wondering. That's kind of a big spoiler for the second season and I wouldn't reccomend finding out at this point. But if you really wanna know: SPOILER Nope, although it comes close a few times. Well, not in the TV show, anyway. I'm not finished with the manga yet so I'm not sure about that.

Kenshin is stupid, only the OVA is cool but the rest is like gay comedy. Berserk ownz it, maybe not the anime, but definately the manga.

There's bloody and slightly graphic scenes in Kenshin. Granted, not all that many for a swordfighting anime, but they're there. Kenshin's fight with Saitou, Saitou's murders of his "partners", Soujiro and Anji's flashback scenes, Okashira's loss to Aoshi, and the battle with Shishio, to name a few.

So is Kenshin not as funny as he is in japanese? I know theres a language diffrence, but why does he always say "I know that...(something)..., that I know." hes talking like yoda or somthing. And is it true that the japanese ver. has alot soft hentai in it? I thought most anime had that as normal but kenshin seems lacking. Any way, the class is over, see ya.

The "that I know" is an attempt to translate an idiomatic phrase, de gozaru and its variations, which roughly means "so says this humble person" - it's a comically formal and respectful way of speaking. There isn't much fan-service in the japanese version of Kenshin, either. Only some anime have that sort of thing; there are a lot of very serious shows, as well.
