The basic American right of free speech needs to be terminated when it reaches a certain point... And this my friend, has reached that point.

"God hates sin, not the sinner." Could you provide scriptural evidence for this point? Or are you basing this on something that is not written in the bible? For all intent an purposes, the site we are discussion does provide some very good points about what the BIBLE says regarding sin and homosexuality, which is a very good reason why I am not a Christian.

Some people on this board need to understand action & consequence. There is no possible way for the American government to draw a line at where freedom of speech begins other than "When it offends someone." Yet even that can not by fully used because nearly anything that's said can be almost certainly be offensive to at least one person out of the masses.
You can NOT stop people from expressing themselves. They WILL find some way to get their message out. If we do begin cutting peoples inalienable rights, the constitutional republic is in jeopardy and we will be on the way to a Communistic nation. There are some good aspects to communism, but I'll stay off of that subject for now.
If you want this site to go then hundreds, heck even thousands of other websites will have to be abolished. Is the government going to invest in a division specifically established to destroy offensive websites? No, at least not now.
If you are trying to remove all forms of homophobia, I'll probably have to be killed. I am homophobic, I see no reason to change that and I never intend to. Do I run around my school screaming "God hates f*gs!"? No. Because that's not true. As Maxim said, God hates the sin, not the sinner.
Bottom Line: You have to live with it. You've got no choice. You must make your skin thicker and learn to ignore ignorant, hateful people.

Sorry for double post. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world.."That sounds pretty all-encompassing to me.

Could you provide scriptural evidence for this point? Or are you basing this on something that is not written in the bible? To add something to which Jacket said - God is all forgiving, is he not? If God can forgive a sinner, then that makes it clear he does not hate the sinner otherwise he wouldn't forgive them. Hence, God hates the sin, not the sinner.

God hates sin, thats why when Jesus was on the cross and he bore all the sin of the world, even ours, God had to look away from his son. This did not mean God didnt love his son, it only meant he did not like the sin that he was carrying. Yes, the quote God hates sin but loves the sinner is true. God loves all his children and he would not turn his back from us, only the sin that we commit. Love Karen xoxo

Now I am disapointed with you guys. Freedom of speech? Don't you know what it is? You may say anything you want, show anything you want *as long as* you don't hurt anybodys else feelings. Thats called respect. And now Ill use my freedom of speech to say something:...
«Devil was right... sigh»
Why? Why do you treat different people like homos as a sin? Thats the worst thing closed mind I've ever seen. Did you know that homosexualilty is caused by an anomally on the brain? Thats not an option. You born like that. If it is anyones fault, I am sure its God one...

By the way, homosexuals werent born with it, it has come to their being, by the influences around them. I hate arguing about beliefs hehe. Cos what im saying could be complete and otter crap to come people and some things that other people say can be complete crap to others, but hey thats life. The world wouldnt be the same if people always agreed with everything. Its good to have your own "freedom of speech" Love Karen xoxo

I saw a TV show about that. There is a celule on the brain that tells you wether you are male or female. The problem is when a man borns with a female celule. Oh and by the way, not to seem a mod or anything but you can't double post.

f**k ALL OF YOU CHRISTIANS!!!
..Nuno, do not let the rudeness of the few to tarnish the reputation of an entire group. You don't know the opinion's of every Christian, you just based it on what you knew from other Christians..

They should at least hide the fact that they are weird...and also, aren't these topics against the rules (Well, what the topic has turned into anyway)

Well this is probably another thing to argue about now Love Karen xoxo *feels like this should be in debates* Yes, God did destroy Sodom and Gomora, but the reason is that it got so bad (worse than what we have now), that God had to destroy them to protect those that were still moral and civilized. Note also that God told Lot to find 10 righteous people. He actually started at like 50 or something, but because of His mercy, He kept bringing it down til it got to 10, still no righteous people. Lot and his daughters were the only ones. (wife look back and became a pillar of salt).
