does space end, or does it go on forever...I dont think its infinate....Because thats impossable...However, I beleave its quite large.

This debate has been done already.

Off-topic...
Thinking about it I dunno... It all depends. If you call space to materia, yes it will end. But if not, it is infinity.

All this is gleaned from what little I can remember from school, but if the universe indeed conforms to Einstein's theory of relativity, space sort of bends in a fairly confusing way. So, rather than reaching some sort of boundary, you'd get back to where you started, which I presume you'd find a bit of a let-down.

Let me ask you a question...if space did end, and you reached the end, what do you think would happen to you?

Some people believe that space could be spherical, in which case you have to ask, whats outside the sphere?

Well, personally I have a strange idea on the size of space, which some people may disagree with. It's also sort of confusing, so I'll explain it as best I can. Well, I think that space is sort of like a sphere, only sort of different... you see, if you went as far North as you could, you'd go in a big circle to the South and end up back where you started. Same as East and West.
Now, you may be thinking 'if space is a sphere, and if you go North you'll eventually end up in the South, what will happen if you go directly upwards, like taking off in a space shuttle'? Well, my answer to that is the same: If you go upwards, you'll keep going in that direction untill you end up back where you started.
The best example is a video game - one of the games where if you go off the map to the North, you'll appear back at the South. It may sound like I think space is a sphere, but like I said earlier, you can't leave this sphere - try flying out it, and you'll end up going in a big loop back to whereyou started.

I understand what you mean. My theory is that the universe is like atoms. There are many universes each in a spherical shell.

That's a very good theory. It's what I believe in, at least. Let me add a bit to that...that spherical shell is one of many, and all of those spherical universes are inside an even bigger universe, which is one of billions, and they're all inside yet another universe. This pattern carries on for an infinite number of times.

I think the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has the best, and most resonable explanation for this question.
"Space," it says, "Is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. You may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space."

My answer would have to be... yes and no.
I read once, that because of the big bang, space expanded, and that it also has limitations. Until now, space is still expanding, and you would have to go faster than the rate of the expansion to reach the very end, which I think is impossible. If you DID reach it, I think you would end up in the other side of our spherical globe of space, and then bigger, spaces infinitely numbered are there outside that universe etc etc. Also, there is a possibility of other multi/universes in that realm, others in the next, and infinitely so on.

The answer to whether space ever ends has two possible answers. In one way, space is finite. In the other, more correct way, it is not.
I've mentioned before I am a Physics student at the University of Manchester. To be more precise I am studying Physics with Astrophysics. Since I am only studying it I am not actually, technically, qualified to tell you you're all wrong, but I can imply it.
Space has two definitions. In one term it is the distance between two objects, the "space" between them. The other definition is that it is the void that "fills" the universe. I believe in this case the second is the appropriate definition. Space is nothing, it is the absence of matter. The universe contains a finite amount of matter. Beyond the furthest reaches of matter is nothing, continually. Hence space is infinite, only because it isn't actually anything.
