Ah......I could see it now: CSC at 10 Downing Street...................being taken away.............escorted from the area by policeman................accused of loitering.
Blair seemingly seems to forget that the reason why he's Prime Minister is because he was elected by the people, by the population. All he seems to be becoming is one of Bush's "playthings" (not in that way, you sicko). There's so many problems to address in this country alone that Blair shouldn't even be thinking about looking abroad for new exploits. As this actual topic suggests, the rules on stealing/mugging are way too laid back, wrong. It's not even as if these are crimes which people could be convicted of wrongly. The way I see it, everyone, regardless of social status, income, personality, etc, has the same rights as anyone else. Anybody comitting crimes is abusing his or her rights. Anybody comitting crimes is therefore trying to exploit his rights for his or her own gain; would there be any other reason? They've got this from our Politicians, the idea that it's ok to be corrupt. Well, if they saw behind the curtain, the politicians ain't as good as you'd think they are.
I can understand that some people may go into lives of crime because of social background (abuse from parents, etc), having had their rights taken away from them. But nevertheless, they should "grow up". If we were a Communist country, there'd be none of this "rubbish". Mind you, if we were a Communist country I probably wouldn't be writing this, but there you go ;D.
