Can't you just learn by yourself? Study RM2K3 a bit, learn switches, variables, forks. How do you think our experts know what they know? You do the same, you don't need use to tell you everything.

Reviving a post is not a crime IMO. Plus saying "why reviving this thread" is nothing but spam. Sometimes, just because we just register we miss some discussions. Ok this one isn't interessant as the guy has been flamed but for example, i have played legion saga 1,2 and 3 recently and can't enter any the old discussion about the bugs inside the game. I found plenty of bugs in legion saga 1 for example. Hum this rule is pointless sometimes.

Reviving a post is not a crime IMO. Reviving topics is just bringing a post that no-one cares about any more back to the topic of the list. If it had still been of interest to someone then perhaps it wouldn't need reviving? People who revive these old posts are always newbies, because they don't know any better - don't clutter up the boards with things we've already read. Perhaps it's not annoying the first time, but this happens almost every day and that's why Townies get annoyed. Did Rpgmikel need to give Zeephos a telling off a month after he flamed that guy, especially since he'd deleted his account? Don't be silly. There was nothing wrong with what Rpgmikel suggested, sometimes certain people do go out of their way to pick on a newbie, but this is like a retard in a 'slagging match'. Look at this case: Dannyb2028 has not posted a single message on these boards since the 25th of September. It is clear that he won't be posting again, nor will he read the responces to this topic. Zeephos posts a less-than-helpful reply, despite having truth in it. A month later Rpgmikel tells him to be nice and try being a bit more helpful (note that he didn't help himself). This is spam. I do not know how hard the moderators are on reviving topics, I guess if someone does it too often they'll get a warning, but essential what FireKnight is saying is "Don't do that." It is an unofficial warning that continual revival is going to land someone in trouble. You may feel that you want everyone to know about this terrible bug you've found whilst playing LS - chances are people already know. You can always just private message Kamau to let him know you've found something, just in case he's unaware. Reviving topics WILL annoy other townies. We would rather you start a new thread than go back 4 pages to find something relavant but incredibly dead. A simple rule to follow: If it's on the first 2 pages, then you shouldn't start a new topic - and revive it ONLY if you have something useful to say.
