"Truly, there's nothing we can do stop him! We must escape, Cernas!"

Valik shook his head. "No," he said firmly. "I have an idea. It can regenerate limbs, but what if we destroyed him all at once? What would be left to regenerate?" He pointed at the trees. "A large limb from one of those Oaks, or even a tree itself would crush him. He wouldn't be able to recover."

Valik turned to Cernas. "Unless you have a better solution," he told the elf, "We're gonna have to damage this forest a bit." To Rudolf he said, "I'll draw him over to under a big branch. When he's in the right place, use you sword sever the limb. If all goes well he'll be crushed."

"I understand you care about the forest, Cernas, but this is our only choice. Valik, I thank you for your bravery. Go."

Valik bowed his head, took a deep breath, and squeezed the grip of his spear. Now focused, he charged. Fortunately, he didn't should a war cry or anything, so the knight didn't notice him until the last second. The glaive's bladedrove through the knight's chest plate, and was quickly pulled out. Sure enough, the hole sealed itself. The knight turned to face Valik, who had a grin on his face once again. "I may not be able to kill you, but I can really piss you off!" He said to the knight. "What are you gonna do about an annoying insect like me?" The knight seemed to make some sort of roar and began to charge as fast as a man or whatever he was in armor could. Valik easily kept a good distance between them as he ran for the tree. Soon they were both in position.

(If there is no other way...) Cernas runs over to Valik and helps him finish the lumbering. The tree falls, headed straight for Valik and the Undead.

Valik heard the crack and smiled. He made one last swing at the Knight's arm, severing it once again, thenjumped clear. The knight was busy regenerating and had no time to react. The tree slammed down with a loud thud! A series of crunching noises soon followed. Valik walked over to where he could see the knight's sword hand lay free of the tree, it decaying very rapidly. The sword lay broken, and the jewel in the blade's hilt emit a strange green glow. "Looks like nature got its revenge," Valik said as he nodded and the trampled flowers that had been crushed by the knight's large feet.

"Hmm. I wonder what that jewel is." Rudolf touches the jewel. He closes his eyes and then gets up. "Let's go". It still rains.

Valik shook his head. "Not yet," he told Rudolf. "We best help those who have been wounded. As important as our mission is, we can afford a small delay."

"We cannot. Those are Elves, they are not like us, we shouldn't be talking to them. Besides, they don't like human, and they can take care of themselves. Now let's go. Remember what we are trying to achieve."

Valik shook his head once more. "I'd be happy to prove that humans are not all bad," he said as he threw his weapon aside and headed over to a wounded male elf. "Humans can depend on themselves, but only to a certain degree. It's by intracting with others that people can truely be helped. I know what were are trying to achive, but this will not take long." He pulled out a small herb and offered it to the elf. He thankfully took it, but with a hint of suspition on his face, and applied it to the wound. Valik got up. "I'm ready," he said as he grabbed his Galive once more. "I told you it wouldn't take long."
