At this time, Kahn had ran outside of the tavern to see what was the shaking was.
A giant ice stalagmite rose between Kel and Zero. Kel hit it with a loud thump and was knocked unconcious. The stalagmite then went back into the ground, creating a hole where it had been. Another stalagmite rose. This time, right underneath Kel. It pushed him to the side, making him fall into the newly created hole. The newer stalagmite sunk back into the ground, making a second hole. Within seconds, the two holes were covered with huge layers of ice nearly 100 feet thick.

Pike ran towards a nearby building, he stopped in the doorway, knowing it was the safest place to be in an earthquake, cursing the gods for this mis-fortune, he looked around at the chaos consuming the town, Ktala was right, it is happenning...

(Wum, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! This is amazing! I thank you humbly for putting the time into this summary. Please continue to update it.)
Thores shook his head. "No, Jarasu is one of the safest towns in the continent-" The ground began quaking violently and he watched as several people fell to the ground, injuring themselves badly. He started to run to help them. Suddenly, a peice of ground rose from under him and he was flung high into the air. He looked down to the quickly approaching ground. He was falling..... falling.... fall....
*******
Livian fell of of her chair in the bar as the ground rumbled, knocking over the table and spilling her ginger ale. She stumbled outside to try and find the source of the quake. As she looked outside, she saw a boy fall down from the quake, and several adventurers stumbling to help him and failing. The boy fell down a hole that suddenly appeared. An archer with blond hair ran in their direction and was tossed up by a piece of land.
Oh my.. I have to get these people above ground, she thought quickly. She took out her staff and began to mutter a spell, a spell that would hopefully keep them safe from the quake at least temporarily. She counted the witnesses and made an estimate. "... I.. I hope this works... FLOAT BUBBLES!"
About fifteen giant bubbles erupted from her staff, and each of them rushed for a random target, trying to envelop them and keep them above the ground....
(Yes, Livian is a new character. Check Char #3 in my post on the Character Sheets thread.)

(OOC: Wum, you have no idea how much that'll help me when I begin the game; it beats flipping through 60 pages..) "What's going on..?" Aidyn said drowsily as he saw Kahn runnning off.. The earth once again began to shake violently, and three homes managed to fall completley apart. "Great...just what I need.." Aidyn mumbled, he saw two villagers in his way, he promptly pushed them to the ground, where one of them was crushed, and the other knocked onconciouess.. "Everyone!" Aidyn yelled to Zero and the others, "Let's go! Forget about the people! This place is coming apart!" **************************************** God, she hated being human.. She looked at her sprained ankle, as Zero and the others tried to save themselves, oh great, now she was being left to die, who would save her.. "Lenora!" Aidyn cried out to her, before grabbing her, and taking her closer to Vivian, who he saw wasn't the most...proffesional spell caster... "Look!" Aidyn said as he sheathed his scythe, "..put her and me in one of your bubbles, Now! Unless you wish to die here through much more painful means.."

(DMC, her name's actually Livian, not Vivian. And it'd be a good idea not to refer to her by name until your character knows it. ^_^)
Livian kept her eyes closed, with her staff glowing. "Don't threaten me, or I'll lose concentration and the spell will break! As for the bubbles, they work on their own.. they're sort of "programmed" to target those in danger.."
Two float bubbles raced towards the stranger and the girl in his arms and enveloped them in their thin shells. They rose athem above the ground to safety. Another one came and gobbled Livian up as well.

Kahn was suddenly inside of a bubble and floating over the town. He soon noticed that a woman was casting the bubbles to save people.
"Why is she helping people that she doesn't even know...?" Kahn thought to himself.

Thores was falling...falling...
SHOOP!
Thores was caught in a bubble, which slowly started floating above the ground. He was saved! He looked around to see a blue skinned girl with a staff deep in concentration. She was probably the one casting the spell. He looked down to see Pheonix beckoning the others to the Inn.
"Red! What are you doing? The Inn will collapse eventually! Get in a bubble, it's safer that way!"
--------
Livian continued to concentrate as bubbles flew everywhere, trying to scoop up the townspeople. She looked around, and about five people were in bubbles, including herself, meaning there were about ten bubbles left. She looked to her left to see a man with wings flying above the city.
"...Why am I doing this?" She asked herself. "Why am I helping these... humans? These people have never done anything good for me. I've been cheated and betrayed by their kind! Why the HELL...."
At that point, she just considered breaking the spell, dropping everyone to their doom. But something, she didn't know what, but something held her back, and despite her rage she continued to keep the bubble spell running.
"...Why..."

Red Phoenix: "Maybe...but think this way...what's making this earthquake...it's an evil force and that...he want's us to think that all the buldings will colapse...but it will not...trust me!..."
"I need you guy's to be Fast enough...i need to know what we have in our inventory!"

Thores frowned. "An evil force, yes, perhaps... but do you know why the force is doing this? It has to be after something, and what if it's you? Then is there any doubt that this force would destroy inns and numerous buildings simply to reach you? If you use a bubble, then your chances of getting caught are lessened!"

Red Phoenix: "Thores...the bubble will not be there forever...And...he's after the map...cause this is no Evil...this is what Zark and Gauss called Technology...joined with magical powers. They can only shake the Earth...but...i don't think that buldings...ah...forget...why should i try to explain...you'll not understand it! I just can Say that I CAN Stop This...remember that in this time the Brain it's our weapon!"

While the others were safely in the bubbles, Drayne was pounding on the ice that had covered up the hole where Kel had been. "Dammit all!" he sohuted in pure rage. He turned to see that the others were safe, even Karen, who had managed to get to a bubble. Drayne was about to run over and join them when the building closest to him fell forward. Karen cried out as the building hit the ground, now a tipped-over house that was mostly rubble.
