That was great... I remember the old Sega Genesis commercials. Isn't that where the dude with the huge aviator glasses came from? He was dressed like Terminator ;D
This also inspires me to make an advertisement for AA:TN. A BAD one.

Wow! So true! The Striking a Cord rant is good too.

I love the picture of the kid wearing the power glove. That ad...was just...lame.

I just saw an advert for a GameCube game on the TV. (I don't know the name of the game, it didn't say or at least it said it very small)
All it had was this character head of loads of women dancing in thongs followed by a picture of the games casing. What the hell was with that??

Kids these days! With their fancy-pants "graphics" and their "hip beats"... back in my day, we had to make our own graphics! Rewrite the code everytime we played it!
In other words, in response to the 'thong' commercial, games don't need good story, plot, or gameplay anymore to sell; they just need graphics. Sad...

Yep, Sex Sells. There is one or two good adverts I've seen for games, the Resident Evil one with the baby in the cot and it said somthing like "Teach them to read, teach them to write teach them to kill." and the Silent Hill adverts are pretty cool but other than that its pretty crap and whats up with that CG advert with everyone jumping for joy?
