You guys suck! DDR is awesome, and a pad only costs about 20$ DDR is awesome. btw, blakeman, whats ur fav song? I like to play Dead End of Standard/Trick, its awesome. I normally play 6 and 7 songs, but i can *sometimes* clear level 8 songs, such as B4U on Heavy!!!

I prefer the 4 or 5 tracks, because they're fairly exciting and aren't too hard .
Mind you, the tracks we get on our 'Dancing Stage' games are probably much worse than the real deal. Still great fun, though, it's just more suited to your living room than your local arcade, unless you like to show off or make yourself look a prat .

I LUV DDR!!! I play DDR XTREME at the arcades whenever I can! I can do the 4-5 step ones, but I can barely go any higher. Oh, but I just started trying to play Dance Maniax 2nd Mix, where you use your hands. It's a bit tough, but not much different from DDR.
I'm pretty darn decent on 4-5 step tracks myself. And most people around teh place I practice at are inexperienced with the game so when I beat even 2 step tracks they're like "TEH WOW WE WILL APPLAUD NOW" so it is all cool. Yayayay.
