What would you think if there were a Dynasty Warriors Online for PS2 and XBOX? In my opinion, it'd be great to team up with some people and KO hundreds of guys.

Oh dear, another spin-off? To me, the series became tiresome after DW2. Quite unusual isn't it? A war simulation / action game that's a spin-off from a 2D beat'em-up. Nevertheless, DW3 was fun for about 10 hours. Especially on two player. But I was already bored from the 2nd. I mean, they put bearly any new features into it. They should have just made DW2 2-player. I havn't played DW:Tactics, but if DW4 gives an impressive list of features. I might buy it. DW;online won't be on myshopping list, sorry.

It would be way more fun if everyone played one character, 100 at a time, AND SMASH AWAY!

Hmm, i dunno. When there's just say 10-30 in a game it'd seem too much like a Deathmatch in my opinion. I hate DM games. ^_^

It would be way more fun if everyone played one character, 100 at a time, AND SMASH AWAY! Yeah. Either that or have a team of 5 different (human-playing) officers going into a huge battle. And what's best is that Dynasty Warriors is best known for it's battle system where it can allow hundreds of characters on one screen, and hardly have any slowdown.

Yah, but have you played DW4? It iz teh uber1337ness, I used to play 2 player co-op with my friend all of the time . . .
You'd have to make the players have more abilities than just overwhelming strength and simple combos, and not make them so overwhelmingly strong, with varying AIs as set by whomever would decide to set them . . .
But I'd buy it . . . If I had the cash. I've yet to bring up the cash to get DW4, even now.
EVERYONE STILL WANTS $50 FOR IT DANGIT!!!

Hehe...I bought DW4 about two weeks after it came out! It is 'teh' uberness...mainly because of the officer creation. Though they don't give you many options you can still have fun with your own character.

Ahem. What do you mean by uberness?
And DW4 is brilliant, because you get loads of characters? Whose everyones favorite? I like Sun Shang Xiang, because shes so fast and has good crowd control.

I like my own custom character... I named him Sparta. But if you're talking about the main characters, I'd say Lu Bu. He'll waste ya!!

No way. I dont like to play as Lu Bu, because he is too strong. Theres not enough challenge playing as him

Well I don't think many people realize how much quicker the battles would be, because in normal DW games the AI-controlled units are very slow at progression. They spend half their time standing around doing nothing when if they got to it they could clear a big map in about 10-20 minutes.
Perhaps it would be cool if there was a respawn queue system. After you die you are put into a queue of people who have already died, and you have to wait to be respawned as a reinforcement unit at one of your allies' gates. During this time you could have spectator mode or something? That would be cool. I'd LOVE an online DW game.

That respawning part would be great, seeing as you're playing online, and you don't want to die so you can see just 'GAME OVER' on your screen. You pay to play online. You should get to play until you're done. Anyways, in the online version, you should lose only if all other human officers (in your army) are defeated. Or if your fort is taken over.
