Was there ever a time in any game where you were losing, and suddenly, you did something great and won? I know a time.
I was playing Dynasty Warriors 4, and raked up a KO count of 100 after 15 mins. The Nanmans, who were my enemy, killed every one of my army (Wu forces) apart from Sun Shang Xiang (my character) and 3 bodygaurds. I was surrounded by Nanman forces, and discovered an attack for Sun Shang Xiang where she whrils her chakrams around her 6 times. I used it a few times and managed to get a KO count of 1000 in under 20 mins!! I defeated the enemy commander just before i was about to receive the finishing blow on my character!

I was playing Armored Core and accepted a mission to cause damages to an urban center, the more I destroy, the more money I gained,so I started to destroy everything I could,I had 3 minutes of tactical operations, after 1 minutes I got attacked by guard in lowly MTs(mechas),I beated all of them and had about 8000 AP remaining out of about 8400,when 1 minute was remaining I got attacked by a ranking AC(Mecha too,but more in the humanoid style) called Valkyrie, she beated me hard and I lost 13000$,to own around 4000$ to the Ravens,so I loaded my game from my card and tried again and failed,I kept failing...then I retried again,I though my AC would get destroyed again,at my surprise,I finished Valkyrie will only around 100 AP remaining,1 or 2 shots from her and I would have been destroyed, and now,I have no troubles in each games I start(except when I make a heavy AC).
In Suikoden I kept losing the war at Scarletia castle since I had fewer units then Milich, then I was very lucky, every options I chose ended up with me beating the crap out of Milich's army,I couldn't believe it...then,I had to give the game back at the store where I rented it.
The first Resident Evil I played was the second one,and I couldn't get pass the beginning, after a few tries I got used to the controls and passed it without difficulty.

Valkyrie... Oh the old times... I remember that she was hard to beat but once you get her "style" of combat, she aint that hard...

Actually,Valkyrie is a she,you had to look at her profile in the ranking(the pilot is Losvaize or something like that).I like taking a peek at ranking ACs to know what kind of AC they got.

Game: NCAA Football 2004 When: Today around 6:45 PM EST Who: Me as Georgia Tech vs. North Carolina
I was ranked 6th in the nation and had a 1-1 record. I knew that I could not lose any more games or else my hopes of winning my first National Championship on this game were over. I was down 28-24 with around 1:15 to go in the game. I had been underacheiving throughout the entire game and had brought in my 2nd string Quarterback who had some speed in order to move the ball more swiftly.
I got the ball at first at my own 20 yard line. My quarterback (Whose name evades me at the moment.) ran a few draw plays to the outside and gained a couple of first downs. I had to burn a timeout after forcing my way into Carolina territory and set up in the 5 WR Shotgun formation. I set back to throw from the pocket but no one was open. I had to get away from the oncoming linemen so tucked the ball and dashed to the left and to the line of scrimmage. I set back to throw and saw my wide out Scott Robbins headed toward the endzone and with a step on the man covering him. I launched it and it soared to the endzone where he caught it and was clobbered. I tacked on the PAT for a 3 point lead.
There were still :37 seconds left so even though I felt pretty good, I wasn't off the hook yet. Carolina started at their own 20 after a touchback and began with some quick passes over the top to grab a first down. They only burned one timeout during the drive. They were around my 35 yard line and on either 3rd or 4th down (with punting not being an option). Their QB set back and had ages to find and open man, but fired it deep and straight into the hands of my Free Safety. The INT saved the game and kept my run at the Sears Trophy in-tact. There were :13 seconds left and I took a few knees (They still had two TO's) and ran the clock out to win.
I've currently got a game paused in my room where I'm comfortably beating my conference rival Clemson Tigers comfortably.
Hoo-hah.

I played a demo of this game from PSM, is their a time limit on the missions or was that just for the PSM demo? Your answer could affect whether I buy the game or not, that's why I ask.

In the previous games there was a time limit, though it was pretty rare to actually come in conflict with it. For the bigger battles they gave you 90 minutes I think, more than enough time to kick some ass. Dynasty Warriors is a good game to do something spectacular. I remember one time...I think it was Dynasty Warriors 2 in the battle of He Fei...my entire castle was surrounded by practically the whole other army. And of course, we kicked some major ass.

Hmm...well there was only ten minutes for me to defeat the main enemy base in the demo, was that enough time, or is this just simply for the demo?

That has happened to me twice. Once in FFVI (I think) and again in FFX.
FFVI-Fighting against X-Death(I think) as Gelaf, I went down to 0HP, but wait, I couldn't die! Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha!
FFX-Fighting against Yu Yevon. All my charcters died, but wait, auto-life kicks in, I couldn't lose! Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha!

DW4 has about the same as DW3 for mission time. DW4 though, is the bee's knees. Its fantastic! Buy it! It has these cool new 1 on 1 duels, where an enemy officer appears on the screen, and ask you for a duel (What?! You dare face the mighty Lu Bu?) Then, you press X if you want it, or do nothing if you dont. Losing the duel will mean game over. Winning it greatly increases your forces morale, but not accepting it or drawing will decrease morale. It also has some cool additions, such as bodygaurd naming, and orbs.

I got another one, from AC too.
I was at the last mission and had troubles getting through it and got game over at Nine-Ball(Huster One's AC),instead of returning to the nest(since I was in the nest),it had a cinematic saying I was dead...So I loaded my game and got into it again and nearly got killed again(I had only 2000 AP left at my second encounter with Nine-Ball),I was able to beat him and I found the target...oddly enough it wasn't a mine...but the Nest generator...I destroyed it...Then I got a cinematic showing the end, with some unknown guy speaking to me(I won't tell anyone the catch of the entire game though in case some would want to play) and the Nest exploding...
