My brother recently bought it, and I took it to play for a while. The single player missions are rather fun (ecept one so far... it's so bloody long and annoying), and continues the story moderately well (I'm halfway through humans). It goes Night Elves-> Humans-> and then I believe Undead. Somehow I figure it'll pull off a Brood Wars type ending.
Battle net is overall enjoyable, many new changes make it good to play (though I only played three games, it seems Night Elves are still popular). My only gripe is the change to town portal scrolls: When used, the hero that used it goes invulnerable while one goes through a 5 sec wait for the teleportation to take affect. It is highly annoying when you get a hero down to 100 HP only for them to suddenly be invincible.

I have NO CLUE what you just meant about the TPs . . . But then again, melee WC3 got boring a while ago . . .

The Frozen Throne is an excellent game. I got it on Wednesday and beat the campaigns Friday morning Battle.net play is still just as fun as ever. The game is much more balanced than Classic ever was. I personally love the changes to the Town Portal scrolls. It makes them actually somewhat risky to use, instead of just being able to instantly escape from any battle you think you have a chance of losing.

There's no risk for teleporting when your strongest hero can just endlessly buy TP scrolls and become invulnerable whenever his life gets low.

But because of the 5-second delay, you lose a significant amount of your other forces.

I'm downloading the game right now. I so dig it (whatever that means).

You'll need a legit CD-key in order to play it on Battle.net. In my opinion it is not worth it unless you can play online.

I agree with you Psygon, but unfortunately you can also get legit CD keys off of Kazaa. I actually didn't even know Throne was out yet. Shows you how out of the loop I am...

Haven't got it yet...but one of these days when I'm not working I'm planning on going up to Wal-Mart and buying it. The only problem is I suck at multi tasking...if I could do that better I would probally be about the same skill level as Psygon.

If it was Starcraft then I'd probally be tied with you Psygon...or at least close to around your skill. Oh and I bought Frozen Throne a few days ago...I just need to reinstall W3 first...
