Ok today I went to Leicester to go shopping becuase I had £200 burning a hole in my pocket. So I went into game store which is funnily enough called 'Game.' After looking around for a while and eyeing up Guilty Gear X I turned round and look in the PS1 Pre-Owned Games section and I found FF7 for £7($4.20)! I had never really played FF7, I had played it for about ten seconds round a friends house, and never been able to find it since. Just when I thought my luck couldn't get any better, I turn around and look in the PS2 Pre-Owned Game section, and I see Wild Arms 3 for £9! ($5.40) I didnt even think that Wild Arms 3 was out in UK. So I am happy today!
So the lesson is check the bargain bins! ;D (I sound like such a cheap-ass)
Anyway has anyone else found any fantasically cheap games?

I don't know if it is in the right section. It's not a genre of gaming, so I guess not . I've been buying used games for years. One time, I bought 4 games with like 50 bucks. It was pretty awesome. Edit: 4 PS2 games. Not like 4 NES games .

Most of the time Game's pre-owned section is laughably expensive, but there's the good bargain once every so often. FFVII's probably about £7 everywhere you go, but I'm going to have to use excessive exclamation marks after seeing £9 for Wild Arms 3!!!
It's also advisable to check the Cash Generator/Convertor (chain pawn (NOT pr0n) shops) type places, as they don't have a bloody clue what things are worth. A while back I picked up Warcraft III, Hitman 2, Morrowind, Stronghold, for £3 each =P.

Wish I could find prices that low. Most used games of any quality that I find are around $20-$30.

Sadly, I usually buy the games that I want when they come out so I end up paying top dollar. Even back in the day. It was fun dishing out $40+ for a new NES game. I remember paying $70 for FFIII(US SNES!!) and another $70 for Chrono Trigger. Alot of that stuff is still worth some good money though.

The cheapest game I ever got was Alien Nations, for £1.50 at Game ^_^
But the cheapest game I ever got that was actually good to play was Thief 1, for £4. It's a great game.
