Hello, I am going to reveiw a game once every week on this thread, to help people with their buying decisions, for free! Today, I am reveiwing a game that is very contreversial at the moment. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
Well, look at what we have here! A semi-sequal to the best selling (and most violent) game of last year. Well, a lot of people don't care about this reveiw probobly, but I do. Is this game really worth perchasing for $50? In a word, yes and no. Lets go down the list, shall we?
Graphics: Ok, we have all admitted it at one point, but the graphics in GTA 3 werent that great. Thankfully, the graphics in Vice City are a big improvement. They still don't stand a chance against other games of this genre, especially The Getaway, but whats there is pretty good.
Rating in Graphics Department: 7
Story: The story here is pretty basic, but we werent really expecting anything big anyways. Whats there, is good. Tommy Vercetti just got out of jail after a big drug deal. Now, he wants to get back at the not a very nice persons that got him caught. Like I said, basic.
Rating for Story: 6
Sound: WOW. Much more persinality than episode 3. Tommy says much more than the un-named man in GTA 3, who said nothing. Tommy snips quips such as, "Nice bike," right before stealing the ride. He also says some other phrases, like, "I'm a physco, stay away from me dumb ass!" and, while doing some "work" (cough cough, oral sex.) he says, "You know Tommy Vercetti, you will." Once again, WOW.
Rating for Sound: 10
Gameplay: Ahh, the most important part. Everones played it, so I don't need to say a word.
Rating for Gameplay" 10
Like I said, one of the best games of the year.
Pros-
-Great Gameplay
-Nice Graphics
-Funny sounds and authentic music
Cons-
- Bland envirements
-Basic story
-Cops are annoying
Final Rating: 9
