I've known of the franchise ever since I was a little kid. Though I've never been a big fan of the game. I remember I'd play Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest on the NES and not being able to understand it, nor like it, until recently I started playing an emulator copy of Super Castlevania 4. It was so great and brilliant that I played through a little over half of the game non-stop for a few hours. It's an awesome series and I'm planning to buy Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance for the GBA. I advise anyone who isn't familiar to check out this game series. It's worth it's friggin weight in gold.

The Castlevania series rocks. I've beaten most of the games in the series. The only one of the series that has let me down, was the one on the N64.

Yeah. I heard it wasn't a great addition to the series. What was so bad about it though?

The 3d camera, made some thing like jumps and fighting really difficult. 3d is fine for some games, but not for games like castlevanina.

Yep the Castlevania series is awesome. Been a fan since the first. I didn't mind Castlevania 64 but it definately wasn't anything impressive.
Castlevania SOTN is the best in the series.
Just got Harmony of Dissonance and Metroid Fusion. Haven't had the chance to play them yet.

You just can't have enough games that feature people whipping stuff in Dungeons O.o

[glow=red,1,300]I love C:CotM and C:HoD equally. I've beaten CotM twice, but I havn't had a chance to play through HoD completely.[/glow]

Symphony of the Night is still the best in the series. It's awesome. Alucard is way cooler than he was in 3.

SoTN was the best, in my opinion. I don't even consider the Nintendo64 ones Castlevania.
