Yeah, the spell is called White in the original;, but I think in the Psx version, they changed it to Holy, but I'm not sure. Rydia definetely uses Meteo. Kain obviously uses jump since that's his special attack and does more damage than normal. Cecil's healing spells aren't that powerful, so if you feel the need to, use Rosa's healing spells too. Also, BMZ, what about Edgar? I think he uses throw attacks or something. Like Ninja stars and Suriken or whatever. His spells are pretty much useless at the end of the game.

Edgar isn't in FF4...you're thinking of Edge. I mentioned the Sthingy, remember? His spells suck, but his paired weapons are good.

YOu do need the full spell book, so this game is a combination of leveling up and preparation, unlike 6. Get some good weapons, like Excalibur and the Sthingy.

Yu-Yevon was the easiest final boss.
SPOILER: The easiest way to defeat him is to use Auron's Zombie Strike causing Zombie on Yu-Yevon then cast Life or use a Phoenix Down. There you have it <victory music plays in the back ground> the easiet final boss fight. <End spoiler> All the others were pretty easy: Sephiroth was a little tough for me since I was at a low level, Ultimecia was a joke, Kuja was easy but Necron gave me a little trouble, I still need to beat the final boss in 4 & 6 and I havent played 5 in a while.

Or you could just hammer him with three good spells and finish him. Besides, the zombie move has a 20% chance of working. You can do it in other games where enemies are vunerable to undead spells.

Oh, yeah Edge. It's been a while since I played the game. Yeah, Murasmune/Masamune are awesome weapons. Hanzatre@ Uh....yeah, that's probably why you have trouble. I wouldn't be going after the last boss at under level 50. I mean Fusoya is only at level 50 when he joins you. I'd try to raise your levels up a lot higher and make sure to get all of the special equipments from all those optional bosses in the last dungeon. They help a LOT.

Yu-Yevon IS vulnerable to Zombie effects I have tried it every time I fought him and it always works.

Really? Explain why it only worked once out of 4 times for me...you probably just got lucky.

hmm... that is strange... maybe I did just get lucky who knows? But even without the whole Zombie effect thing Yu-Yevon still is extremely easy. But what is it with Square recently making super easy final boss fights?! Hard final boses are like a lost cause now... oh well.....

Use reflect or zombie on Yu-Yevon, both ways you can win easyly or just get good streght and atack once. -_-"

I hit him once with Auron's normal attack, used a decent enough spell with Lulu, and had Tidus attack. He's reduced to fine powder.

The easiest is Yu Yevon, by a long shot. One attack and he's dead...waste of time
