Last week I went down to Microplay(it's like the canadian version of Gamestop I think) looking to rent a game and I saw a copy of Chrono Trigger(for SNES, not that stupid PS version) for 45 bucks(I think that's about 30 american) with box and instruction manuel. So I told my friend about it and he said "Dude! You so got ripped off".
Now I thought I got a good deal but now I'm not sure so I want to know what any of you people think, Good deal or bad?

Bad deal. I could get FF7 with manual for 10 or less, depending on where I go.

Yes, but I'm not talking about ff7, I'm talking about Chrono Trigger which is harder to find. Plus they still make new copies of FF7 because it's a Greatest Hit.

A brand new CT game, so to speak? I'd say you got a good deal (considering when I purchased the game, when it originally came out, it was 70 US dollars or so). If it's in great condition, and given the rarity of finding it, that'd be wonderful.
I still have my CT game, and most of the instruction manual. :-D

I'd say you got totally ripped off. You can download it in 2 minutes.

If you guys think you were ripped off much, I actually bought CT for 70 dollars when it came out. But I don't regret it one bit. ;D

Same here, Zheil. Bought it at the Mall of America. All new SNES games were around 70 bucks back then. FFIV and FFVI costed me the same.

Seems expensive, but whatever. D/ling it is free and you don't have to worry about someone else upping the price by naming a price for it. (ebay works like an auction sometimes)

I have all the maps/posters, instructions and box for chrono trigger (along with game duh).
Back then, a game took a while to save up for but it was worth every penny.
