What different musical styles do they mix? I haven't heard their albums, but every single sounds the same. Dream Theater (probably my fave band) insert a lot of jazz and funk itnerludes in their songs, and Aerosmith have done stuff like that, too.
They're accused of being too commercial, but I don't see why that's a problem. Everybody likes a bit of pop/pop-metal.

I've been a fan of LP since 2001/2. I dont like the fact that every song sounds similar, there have been long rants on their messageboards so hopefully they will listen to the fans. They're scheduled to start recording their 4th album soon, Chester their lead man was saying they've been working on new ideas while they've been on the road for summer sanatarium and their other tours.

I like Linkin Park. So do you. But no one's liking Rufio... Bastards. Rufio is grrrr-eat! But um, yeah, back to LP.

Yeah, some of their songs sound the same . . . But when they have each album have a certain theme, I think that they went a bit far.

I like Linkin Park's lyrics, the music is good also. They seem to have found a willing formula. Now they've just got to find another one so not all their songs sound so similar. I mean, in one of their songs I heard for the first time, I could predict when the rapping was going to come in, when the singing was going to interrupt, etc.

when they have each album have a certain theme, I think that they went a bit far. Nah, I think that's a good way of tackling the lyrics to an album. I think Alice Cooper said that that was the only way he could write, and all the greatest albums, be them concept albums or just a collection a songs seem to have recurring themes within the songs (Automatic For The People ). Oh, I've heard She Cries by Rufio, Zheil, which wasn't too bad. Can't remember for the life of me how it goes, though ^_^.

*resists urge to kill the evil evil nuts band*..
yeah.. they have overly cliche lyrics and the steal alotta their "various styles" from other bands.. like their one song is just "Something I can never have" by NIN.. just they changed the key and gayed up the lyrics added a rap part probably from some rap song.. I think they should spend less time on their videos and try to be a band, instead of some whiny little seel out band.. .

Hmm I wouldn't call their lyrics cliché. The explore the feelings rather well I'd say.

They seem to have found a willing formula. Now they've just got to find another one so not all their songs sound so similar. I still can't tell the difference between 'Numb', 'In The End', their newest single, and 'crawling'. I know the names, but play me the song and I wouldn't know what it is until it gets to the chorous(sp?) (where it usually has the title in it).

Crawling and In the End are completely different, man. Numb, I don't remember. And by new single are you talking about Faint? It's more like "Lying from You" than anything else.
If you can't tell the difference, then you'll have trouble distinguishing between Kid Rock and The Beatles.
