Top 3 things about this demo
1. The new soundtrack, the rock songs make it better! 2. It's an RM2K3 game, what else is new? 3. Nothing more can be said than this: It's the BOMB!
Kamau, you have outdone yourself once again!

My guess is that's a glitch. Probably meant to be a steak image or something. Hey, even the best of us slip up now and then. You DON'T say? ;D Yeah another thing I liked was the lack of pointless exposition and the addition of the remix of the seige track at the start.

If it lags restart your computer. It always happens to me, before I play a game or anything I have to restart the computer, something to do with memory I think. *Sigh* I tried that allready

Ooooooooops! Yeah the fisherman is the result of a last-minute charset change which I didn't test out. If you want to fix it in RM2k3, just change the 4 steak events to 'Fixed Graphic' rather than 'Continuous'. I'll put up a fixed version soon.

That was a real improvement from the first one. That misplaced charaset of the fisherman on the dinner table seemed pretty funny. But I've been wondering Kamau on your text. Were you trying to show that their accent was British? Because you add a 'u' to morning and other words have words you find in British books. Defense in not spelled defence.

Morning is spelt the same in both the UK and US, unless you're talking about mourning (as in greiving) which is also spelt the same. Defence is an English word but not entirely.

Well I am British myself, so I just spell the words in the way I normally do. Incidentally, did you know the reason Americans spell words like armour and favourite without the 'u' is because the guy who wrote an American dictionary decided it would be better that way, and so got rid of them.

They pronunciate better without the U's I think

They're pronounced exactly the same.

The British way is correct. Americans got English from the English, hence the name "English"

Defense and Defence are the same thing. It's usually defence, however, as defense comes from defensive. Think about that when the words are being spelt.

Here in the USA it's spelled "defense" and NEVER "defence", BMZ. However your second to last sentence seems to contradict yourself.
Anyway I played the demo. It's pretty nice except I would suggest using the battle type "traditional" instead of "alternative" because it doesn't have all the ugly display errors like MP showing above your ATB guage. I also am thoroughly against the tedious slowing of character movement speed when walking up ladders.
Other than that the parts I played were pretty good. I was walking through the forest and then my RM2k3 crashed (hadn't saved since Seimu) so I have lost my motivation to play through the whole thing, at the moment at least. But the crash was during a battle so it's most likely just a stupid RM2k3 bug and not a mistake in coding on Kamau's part.

How did I contradict myself? How fast should a guy be climbing a ladder? Should he be doing everything at a running pace? I walk up ladders, thank you very much. If it wasn't for the fact that it would probably be a pain to make, it would be cool to see the generals fight during their duel.

I thought the ladder speed was about right (that's why I made it that way... heh). I mean... you DO slow down when you climb a ladder. And they're not exactly really huge so it doesn't take ages. Quit nitpicking.
