I think a manga would be a huge step for the LS franchise.
I would draw the beginning of the manga, but I have no artistic ability. Maybe I should just do it in RM2k and take screenshots.

One problem with that...THERE IS NO LEGION SAGA FRANCHISE! Stop making me repeat myself. It was made with RM2k, and quite a bit of it is RTP (good usage, however), so its part of the RM2k franchise.

Main Entry: 1fran·chise Pronunciation: 'fran-"chIz Function: noun Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, from franchir to free, from Old French franc free -- more at FRANK Date: 14th century 1. the right or license granted to an individual or group to market a company's goods or services in a particular territory; also : a business granted such a right or license ========== Legion Saga is not a franchise dammit. As overrated as it is, and as much as you love it, it never will be. Not to say the series wasn't great, but you far overrate it.

That is not the point. I know it was made as with RM2k and used RTP and ripped graphics and other resources and I know that the story is ripped from Suikoden and the characterization is thin, but if it first came out as a manga or a novel with a revised storyline then it could lead to an anime series or a real game.

I highly doubt any Rm2k/3 game will ever become a real franchise, and if it started as a manga or a novel, wouldn't that have made it even less original?

They'd have to totally remake it for it to be even remotely considered worth making into something like an original comic. I've said this over and over. Get a clue, people. Don't get mad at me for saying the truth.

But wouldn't the artist be workin on RTP characters? What if some other person start making a rm2k game with RTP characters and than start making a comic out of his game? yeah it's a rare situation but hey anything's possible. The RTP characters just won't do it. The RTP graphics are used rm2k worldwide yo know what im sayin?

Now, comic would be more original if the characters that are from RTP were edited, per the ideas of Kamau of course. For example, Ridman won't wear the helmet that gives him away as an RTP kind of guy. Bobo could be more like a dragon, Eva could have a different uniform, and Mr. Yuto could have a bit more hair...stuff like that, you know?
