Kamau said that he'd like to have this fan game on the site so I thought I might as well get a few opinions on it before I continue. I created this game not long after the release of the first CoS demo, but didn't let it surface. It was originally called Tikki's Quest, but I thought that the name was far too cheesy:
Concept - Set 10 years after LS3's ending, using the Good Ending. Reasons will soon be clear.
The story revolves around Tikki, who has become Captain of the Peregrin Knights. The beginning is almost the same concept as LS3, with the Peregrin Knights fighting off rebels from the East, who seem to have a link with the Orogai.
There are to be 4 playable charcters, but I may change one of the characters, since I have two storylines for this game: Tikki, Lord Ashkra, Agram, Chibiki (Chibiki may change to Fuba).
You will play within 3 different time periods: Flashbacks of between the Krisdean Liberation and Highland wars (Between LS2 and LS3), Flashbacks during the Highland Wars (LS3), and the aftermath of the Highland Wars
The ABS used is the same as Curse of Silence, and is the game is to be released on RPGMaker 2000. I have created CMS to be used in the game.

Maybe not have it start with a rebel battle? It happened in LS and LS3, not to mention several other games...add a bit that will happen before it. I don't care what.

Ok, Thanks for the advice. I've edited the Game, so that the player plays part of a flashback first. It doesn't have as much action, and explains some of the history.

History is also good. Try to find a good balance between action and storyline. Too much of one makes people complain about the amount of the other.

Sounds interesting. Well as long as it stays true to the series then that's cool

I hope these images come out. It shows the battle engine to be similar to CoS, and another character at the top of Marael Castle. The images are in jpg format, so may be slightly blurry. - Well it seems that the pics do not work, so just use the links. You may need to copy and paste them.

Make a small status window in the corner, showing Health or HP.

Currently, if you look closely at the picture named Battle_Blood_Rebels, you will find that there is a health bar in the top Left hand corner. I do not feel that there is a need for a picture of the character.

Ok, Since I am having a tough time deciding on what to use, I'll you people:
Should I use a currency change system or not? It is fully operational for now, but may ruin the flow of gameplay, and become troublesome for gamers. If I do not include it, your currency will only be able to buy stuff in Krisdea, but will allow me to expand more on these countries than the others.
It's up to you on what I shall place in the game.
Game update - Current Demo time clocked at 8 minutes +.

Hiya guys!
Wogle- I have a good idea for the currency change that I'll probably use when I finally get round to producing one of my many gaiden idea's into a game. As with the castle in LS3, create a character who isn't actually meant to be a party member. Then tyoe your currency in with the code to show that character's name. Then have the character renamed when you pass through a checkpoint, say from "Geld" to ""Lede:, perhaps via a money exchage booth at each checkpoint. Hope this helps.

My current Currency Change System, involves talking to a guy, who would the exchange money at different exchange rates (eg. 2 Canu is worth 1000 Lede), and so on, but you have a point there, and I may consider using it.

Err... the canu/lede conversion rate was kind of a joke. I think I better change that. It's ridiculous.

Glad I could help, Wogle. I remember I considered a conversion rate system once. If you could get it to work, that would be good, cause it would make shopping a more complecated affair and you'd have to shop round to find a good deal. I like the sound of that idea!
