Advocate's an egomaniac that thinks he's an RM god. I don't care what he says. That's typical hero speed for games. That's how fast characters moved in LS3 before you got the orb so complain about something valid, please.

..I really don't see the problem with the character speed, I think it was set perfectly.
Now, I still haven't finished the game, I only got to the part where your fighting that second assassin with Sazaku.
First off, I adored the editted faceset you used for Lance, it was perfect; did you edit it yourself?
The graphics were nothing I haven't seen before, really. It's a good thing BMZ switched that awful characterset Lance had at first with something a bit more..bearable. The red cape was a little off, and I've seen the original character set plenty of times..the Battle Animations, at least the ones with the characters were nicely done. The Orbcraft ones were sub par; nothing specail, but heck, these are the lower level ones...
BMZ, I have to applaud you for the range of music I've heard so far, I've only recoginized one so far, and I like most of the themes.
He also managed to make one of the few duel's I've enjoyed, and actually almost lost. Some of Cyrus' comments aren't as easily read as say, Shotan's were (the LS3 version), and I like how Lance actually talked back to Cyrus (some of Lance's one liner's are hilarious).
The maps are far from terrible, but a good distance from being masterful works of art, as let us say, Bloodrose's are. But I don't mind them; I've seen some very bad maps in my day, so when I saw BMZ's, and saw it put some effort into them, and didn't just slap something together, I liked them; rule of thumb, any person who makes a game, and actually cares enough to put some sort of effort in a map, an not make one in under 5 minutes, deserves a bit of respect.

The facesets are coutesy of Nunolac. That ugly face was my first attempt, and that's when I realized I have no skill at face sets either.
Well, Inq directed me to a site where I found Monkey Island duel quotes, and a couple are a little original.
*BEST NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE DEMO*
You see, what I like about Lance is he seems to have multiple personalities. Everything he does is completely different from a previous thing. He starts out looking like a noble knight who's pround of his father. Then you see his hidden feelings of love for the princess. Then when he duels Cyrus you discover how thingyy he is. Then after the duel you see how cold he can be in battle. And he appears to be a bit of a drinker. He's complex. By the way, he's twenty six, even though he acts younger sometimes.

24 would be pushing it as he's 2 ranks below a general.

I just noticed the battle, boss, and duel songs are all remixes of each other. Are those original?
I like the music choice to, the only ones I recognized were the castle theme, Shotan's theme, Sazaku's theme, and the song that plays in Weldos. Good job with that.
I thought the walk speed was perfect, nobody complained about that speed in LS1. The only main gripe I have is the maps, the castle especially.

The music is original, but I got from a site. It was probably either RM2k Vault or Gaming Ground Zero.

To clarify, would the file be in the rtp, or in your game? I looked through the files of the game, and the file didn't exist, but if I am looking in the wrong folder, then I may have to re-download the rtp...
(I hope not, but...)

It has to be there in the character sets, because no one else had this problem. I don't know what you did. Download it and check the character set folder. It should be there.

List of stuff: 1) The walk speed is not the same speed as in LS3. I just played LS3 to confirm. 2) Your map design is okay at best. It suffers from "too huge" syndrome. Shrink them down and add more detail. 3) Some of the dialogue is cheesy, such as when the two main characters are taking about their swords' names.
Other than those, it wasn't too bad. The music was actually more than decent at times.
