Well there may be some modifications so Kamza might join your party briefly.
The wars and duels will basically stay the same, but it's not just luck. You can figure out what the enemy will do from their taunts and work out how to act based on that. I haven't planned the new duels yet but the wars will also include random occasional taunts like the duels (otherwise it IS just luck) and also a 2nd turn after the main turn for each army in which you can perform special abilities and challenge enemy generals to duels.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the taunts thing. I guess I was just thinking of LS1 and LS2's wars.

Try some taunts like those of Money Island. I love those.
Kazma was an alright character. I'd be nice to use more than the typical characters from the first game.

..It sounds like the new war system'll just be a duel version of the earlier war system; with taunts and the like..

LS1 was by far my favourite, so i know i'm gonna love this! The sequels i feel weren't as good as LS1.

..I guess, but Nastra seemed alot more interesting than Ridman, and most of the character's in LS2 had their own, distinct, personality. Of course, as with all of the LS games, the music was a sub par at best usually, and I was amazed at the fact that Kamau had made what I have only struggled to convience on RM2K; not a hero, but a flawed young man, struggling for redemption, seeing the horrors that his actions have caused and trying to undo them..to try to make up for the sin, the burden he know carries..
Truly..a great accomploshiment..

Well LS1 was the first RM2K game i played so it had quite an impact on me back in my newbie days. Also there was sort of a bond between Kamau and Nastra. If you read Kamau's posts you'll see that Nastra is very much like him in terms of speech and attitude.
But back to the topic, definetly have the demo end at the end of the duel, but personally i prefer full games.

Heh, Kamau. If you're remaking LS1 this time avoid making the well-being of a city-sized ship reliant upon two easily cut ropes attatched to barrels.

Well, it would be great to show a demo up to the duel. But, I don't know about a 2nd demo. Most real games only have one demo. And the 2nd should always be a completed one. It's not that I don't want to play it sooner or later, but the longer I wait, the more better the game will be when it comes out as complete. The only game that should come out one at a time is The Way. Because each episode of it is sticking long and has a good reason for not being all in one project. Making one demo is good but another is something I don't look forward too. A completed version is always something everyone appreciates.
