I know I picked all the main characters, but the other character just weren't developed very much. Actually, a few were. You learn a lot about Shotan's past in the three games. You also get to see Lilly grow up, Serynia reveal her past, Eva admit to her complicated feelings (Ditto to Fuba). Lisa lost her parents during the Highland Civil war. That's just to name a few. How is that not developped?

Well of course, all main characters should be the most well-developed characters in a game.

Lisa lost her parents during the Highland Civil war. That's just to name a few. How is that not developped? So what if you learn a few things about them? Character development means alot more than revealing a past or feelings. I admit that Shotan was well developed, but he is perhaps the only exception. The beauty of LS, is that now they're making games about the pasts of the character that join you without saying a word, like Sazaku and Taisu.

That's not exactly true. Sazaku is being developped, as he'll soon have his own game...
Sazaku was cursed by the people of his home village of Panzo in Harbrynd for a secret reason (I knew it, but I can't remember so don't ask me), and began to wander, becoming a loner. He soon joined a guild of assassins in Veramonde, now with nothing left to do but kill.
Taisu, well, was still fairly undevelopped. He's a mercenary looking for answers to his past that has apparently been shrouded in mystery, and that west country similar to China ( can't remember the name at the moment) could have clues to his origins.

You're wrong Dreamer, character development is revealing past, feelings and personality, which the LS serie has done well,in fact,BMZ is right.

Oh God d**n it! Taisu is a mercenary with a shrouded past? I use the same face set for an assasin with a shrouded past in Haledos......argh....now I will look like a rip-off yet again.

Yes, Haledos was actually started as a short story I wrote before I even knew rm2k existed. I dreamt of it being a real game...

..It doesn't surprise me if some n00b will spring up after you release Haledos: The Beginning and callls it a complete rip off of LS. If Kamau can call LoD a rip off of FF7, then a n00b can call Haledos a rip off of LS. Such a sad world we live in..*sigh*
