ABL's battle animations looks so spiffy. Really.

Well, you have to get the special weapons to actually get to see the character attacking. Besides, its a first-person battle system and battle animations showing the character attack look a bit cheesy. If you want to see the character attack, you'll need RM2k3's BS.

I cannot choose another game than A Blurred Line. Surely we are all huge RPG fans, else we wouldn't be messing around with RPG Maker, so we should all know what to look for in an RPG. I should imagine everyone focuses on the storyline above anything else. Secondly we like some sort of innovation. You can split the two games into the story based and the innovative. A Blurred Line has a gripping story, seems to be pieced together very well and it does not wane. But A Blurred Line is an ugly game, will little I've not seen before. Lysander does make an effort to introduce some custom elements in the later parts of the game, but they only serve to suppliment the story, rather than say "Wow! Look at me!". The characters in a Blurred Line are a delight, however. I really am passionate in my dislike for Kersh and couldn't be fonder of Talan. Legion Saga is very well presented. Graphically it looks a lot better than A Blurred Line. The duel system and the war systems are fun, and since they are an integral part of the game, mastering them becomes essential. That's a good thing But the storyline in the legion saga games only seems to be there as an excuse for the violence The characters are colourful and interesting, but a tad too cartoony. I was quite indifferent about defeating my enemies. It was fun to fight them, but I had no beef with them personally. In summary, both have there strong points, but they lie in different areas. I simply found a greater deal of satisfaction playing ABL. However, it's not complete. Should Lysander either make a hash up of it, or it turns out that the story is full of plot holes, then Legion Saga will take my top-spot.

I didn't vote, because I haven't played ABL yet. Could somebody tell me where I could download it at so I could compare the two?

about what unknown dude said. I like rm2k games because i can't afford the games in my countries because their way too expensive and they're in japanese and I can't read it. Plus, I like to see games made by people that work solo or creativity of others. Simple and fun.
