Fooly Cooly is, simply, a great anime from Gainax. I'll try to avoid spoiling it, but the basic storyline is this: Naota, the main character, lives with his father and grandfather in the city of ____, while his brother is off playing baseball in the states. His brother's girlfriend seems to have a thing for him as well, but other than that, life is dull - til Haruko shows up, that is. Haruko is an alien (from God knows where) who seems to have an odd effect on whatever she comes into contact with. To make it brief, she changes Naota's life forever. SCORES: Animation: 4.5/5 - Very well done, with several styles put into the series (they even mock South Park in one ep ) Sound/Music: 5/5 - A J-rock band called The Pillows did the majority of the soundtrack for FLCL, and they did a d**n good job of it. One of the best anime soundtracks I've ever heard. Story: 5/5 - Original and clever, with very witty writing. My only qualm is the fact that it's a rather short series (only six episodes), but there is to be a movie released in Japan. I very highly recommend Fooly Cooly. And, on another note, I recommend The Pillows, too. ;D

Isn't this the Hentai that American mothers are moaning about? Anyway, good review. But a little short. Keep at it.
