I saw 3 animes on cassette at 3$ each, and I want to know if they are worth the try.
It's Kishin Corp,Metropolis,Peathingy Warrior. There was Tenchi Muyo but I will surely buy this one,so I didn't bother asking about it.

Well, I saw Metropolis, and it was pretty good. The characters and story were pretty well done, and the musci fit in great. I would recommend it. Of course, my friend says he saw an anime named Metropolis, and it was completely different from what I described, so there may be two different movies under the same name. The Metropolis you found may be completely different from what I saw. I don't know about the two others.

Well,Metropolis is a movie, not an anime,so there are chances it is the one you are talking about, was there a child girl with blonde hairs on the box(if you saw the box)?
EDIT: Here:

Yeah, that's the new anime remake, scripted by the writer of Akira, I think. www16.brinkster.com/deeleanpro/reviews/mreview.htmThat's my review of it. I have the original in the cupboard, when I get round to watching it I'll probably be able to compare. Never heard of the others though, sorry. Maybe type their names into www.imdb.com .

Thanks,I found Peathingy warrior,I should say king...it's 1988 and is said to be very good...actually,I made an error in it,the name is actually:
Peathingy King: Spirit Warrior-Festival of Ogres' Revival.
Kishin Corp is done in 1993...the cassette I found is episode 2-3.
I'll try Metropolis now...I mean when I'll get home.

Never heard of them myself, but: us.imdb.com/Title?0193274 For the Peathingy Warrior one. It's apparently the first episode in a series, which is always a good place to start . From the description it seems pretty interesting, too. us.imdb.com/Title?0106046 I think that's the other one, although not much information is given about it. However, you did say that you'd miss the first episode of it, which (I would hate ) could mean that you'd miss something. The Peathingy Warrior one looks more like it's an "open-close" picture than one that would require you to watch previous installments, and it's the first one anyway .

I don't think I'll miss a lot if I haven't seen episode 1 of Kishin Corp,it says that aliens are starting to invade a place and that an empire sended a transport train with something I can't remember in it,so the Kishin Corp must stop the invasion and retrieve the thing in the train, that's episode 2,so you must guess the story is quite simplish, fight against an empire and stop an alien invasion...the cliché type story...as for episode 3,it's that the empire train got away and the Corp are running after it to fall into a trap set by the empire,so they must survive the trap. The thing that bother me is that it's a Mecha anime and year in which it is set is 1942,strange,isn't it?I guess I won't try this one,I'll keep an eye open for a Gundam serie if I want a good Mecha anime(I love Gundams and most Mecha anime with awesome Mecha).
