I downloaded the first episode off KaZaA, and it was fairly entertaining, although it has one of the worst theme tunes that I ever heard, and a guy who was constantly referring to his special "milk". Honestly.
It involved good old Sonic having a go at Robotnik/Egg Man, and then for some reason ending up in our world, and running from some police-type people. There wasn't much story progression in it, and the translation was a tad on the dodgy side, but it was fairly entertaining. The old Sonic series that used to be on (the first generation, there was a second season that was awful) is much better, though.

the sites downa t the moment so you can't really download anything....
Anyhow episode 2 has sonic saying a VERY SUPRISNG WORD! and episode 3 brings in the rest of the characters. Although you were right. The translation is a bit scetchy.

First of all, I dunno what CSC's talking about. I love that theme song. Although maybe I'm a bit biased, I've always been a Sonic fanboy. I watched the unsubbed version of the first episode five times. ^_^
Anyway, I'm downloading the second one right now and waiting for the third one. But I WUV this anime. I do have a strong feeling that dubbing will ruin it, though.
EDIT: I just watched the subbed version of 1... special "milk"? Talk about crappy translations.... otherwise, yay! At least I can understand Sam Speed's monologue now. ^_^

There were 2 sonic series before this you know. 1 was crappy, the other one was more serious. The cartoony one sucked ass, but the serious one was kinda cool and managed to stick to a single story... Until one day USA broadcasting cancelled it! I was so disappointed! Of course this was about 6 or 7 years ago, so I'm mostly over it.

I saw 2 episodes of the cartoony one,it does suck.
I saw another one with Sonic having rings with him,it was more serious,but still not too good,it was still the ''Fight Robotnik forces'',I saw a third one that happens in another kind of world:Sonic has a brother and a sister(one green,the other pink,Amy?),he was a rebel against the evil empire of Robotnik again,and was,along with his brother and sister,chased by 2 bounty hunters(a wolf and one I can't remember of) in this futurist world...but it sucked too...Oh yeah,Sonic was always hungry,so he eat at least 1 or 2 hot-dogs each episode,the green one was a thief and the pink(Not sure if it's Amy) was snobbish,they were searching for their mother too,it sucked.

You're referring to Sonic Underground, I believe. There were actually FIVE Sonic cartoons total, including Sonic X. Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: This was the first Sonic cartoon, it was really goofy and cartoony and whatnot. Robotnik's henchmen were comic relief and Sonic ran all funny. It was crappy, but did surprisingly well. Sonic Underground: More of a spinoff than a real Sonic cartoon, it was about Sonic and his siblings in some kind of band (??!?). Never really watched it. Sonic and Sally (?): Based on the comic book. This was the one on USA. It was really good, but was cancelled for some reason. -_-' Sonic Anime: This was actually Japan's first shot at a Sonic Anime. It lasted only two episodes and was released on DVD as a movie. Kinda like Dragon Half. Sonic X: The new Japan Sonic cartoon. So far, it roxors. Yaay. |

Sonic has to fight Robotnik. Except in SA2. In the end you had to fight Biolizard. I know most people disagree but I liked the Sonic Adventure series. Though as of now, I think sonic has lost his novelty and popularity. Wonder if the rumors of the franchise soon ending is true.
